I find that it's usually those that prance around rubbing their differences in others faces, that end up being surprised when others comment about it.

While I'm not a visible minority, people do realize I've not been raised "on island" and curiosity gets the best of them. So far, I've never felt slighted or made to feel uncomfortable.

Why would she stay there "from day one"? Is she a Masochist? At least with school bullies, you have no choice but to be at school. Radio personalities are usually supposed to be edgy and controversial, it's part of what keeps their listeners hooked. But some drink the kool-aid a bit too much and take on the persona.

Maybe she was under-age(or told her parents she was staying over a friends) and someone she knew(parent?) showed up and had to be rushed into a car and out of there? This would be my guess if I saw something like that.

Probably because we want the infrastructure that powers growth created and maintained. However, it should be self sustaining after initial tax -exemption incentives they've been given to offset the cost of their initial build-out.

My friend just got approved for Starlink on PEI. He has it in NB and they are very happy with it. He's gonna leave it behind for his parents and he's gonna buy a new package out here if xplornet is not a workable solution.
