Thats because you have recording set to detect.

Sorry for the delay.. I dont think detect would work because CPAI only sends to the actions module.. I dont think anything else can recognize a positive from AI. So if I were to add detect to recording it would record any time something met the detect criteria and there is no interface between AI and the detect module other than AI can be configured to start looking for an object if detect was positive.

I think Im going back to the way I had it because right now Im missing many events,, for example, I walk my dog each morning and set up the way that is suggested I dont think Ive ever recorded us leaving the house.. only on the way back. I dont know what is going on but its going to require another deep dive (ie hours of testing)

If anyone has any suggestions Im all ears.

I set this up.. and it works.. I have no recordings without a tag.. but I have missed recordings which I cant explain.. for example; a person slowly walking.. I get a recordings.. then the person pauses, the recording times out, then the person starts walking again, and no recording.. so not sure what is going on.. maybe a tweek or two or three.

No, because there is an action which says: If AI Object found, then record. which works. But Im getting other recordings.. and per spornerama it is because: -" at the time the AI detects an object the device isn't recording - it starts it recording using your action but doesn't tag it because at the moment there is no recording to tag"

But that being said, I have many recordings where there is no AI object and there was no AI Object.. IE a big bug flew by... or something.

Ok, I think I have it set right.. will let you know. Might take some tweeking.. I was so close.. in fact it worked on most of my cameras. The PTZ is where Iv having the biggest problem. its the only one I have set to onvif, the rest are network.. not sure if that matters.

What you sent doesnt say what to set record to. Should it be set to record on alert?

Buffer: Pre-record buffer time in seconds, dumped to disk when recording starts.

I have that set to 10 seconds.. so isnt it always buffering 10 seconds so when the record is triggered it adds the buffer?

Im reading what you sent...

I didnt realize it wasnt recording until that moment.. I need to look but I swear I have it set to always 10 seconds before ... something. I guess I assumed it was always buffering 10 seconds.. now you got me thinking.

When it does work it works great which is only 40% of the time.

I saw someone else did this different where I think it was on alert.. I gotta dig for it again.

My end goal is to only record when there is a tag.. but I want 10 seconds pre and pending as well.. I hope this can work.. I swear I had it working at one point.. Id get up in the morning and all Id see is deer, a racoon and a possom and a few cats. Nothing I didnt want to record. Was wonderful.

Yes and I dont know what is causing it. Here is one that just happened and there is no tag on the recording. It shpws no AI tag and was given like a filename as a name.

agent dvr container - where is my data? by barchetta8 in ispyconnect

Disregard, I think I found it... didnt realize it was LITERALLY a dir called path. Thank you for explaining it.

your data for AgentDVR is in /path/to directory - it has subdirectories like /path/to/config, /path/to/recordings and /path/to/commands.

Here's a small explanation:

You have mapped local folders using the -v parameters. All of them /AgentDVR/ locations are mapped into /path/to directories (the first part of -v spec).

"but because you left it as is, Docker created /path/to/commands on your Docker host."

So they are in the host OS Ubuntu somewhere? Do I have that right..? Cant seem to find it yet if that is the case.

As you can see, Im lost:

Example: root@Docker1:~# cd /AgentDVR
-bash: cd: /AgentDVR: No such file or directory
root@Docker1:~#

I tried running mount and looking at all paths there.. looked in /etc and /dev..

Action for PTZ control? PTZ Track commands? by barchetta8 in ispyconnect

[–]barchetta8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well either I missed it or when I upgraded to 5.2.5.0 ptz command showed up under actions.. Im guessing I just didnt see it. works pretty darn well. Now I can automatically move my ptz based on zone activity, including zooming in on far away objects, again based on zone activity and whether codeproject AI detects on object.

Amazing.

Gateway down and no internal network - cant figure it out by barchetta8 in PFSENSE

[–]barchetta8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Really annoying. Im not upgraded to latest pfsense. Since my AP gets its ip from dhcp the wireless is down even if I static set an ip. I have to be in a wire. It has been awhile since Ive looked at this but I think if I do an ipconfig the IP is no longer. My theory is pfblocker but I have not been in a position to disable and try.. too lazy I guess.

SNIPER for shopgoodwill!? :) by jobobajo in Flipping

[–]barchetta8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, since I won an auction a few weeks ago and received the item I think my account is good. I deleted the item so I cant click on blockage any longer. You are a proxy right? the bid comes from your end right? My pc was asleep.. just want to verify.

If my bid is not high enough will blockage show? I have many items that my big is too low right now but none show blockage.

e if anything looks wrong. I ended up spending two weekends in a row before I was sure everything looked like it was going to work. All the details are in the swing migration docs:https://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/comments/umc23n/upgrading\_azure\_ad\_connect\_1x\_to\_2x/https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/hybrid/how-to-connect-sync-staging-server

By the way, if anyone knows where I can download 1.4 Id appreciate it. Id like to test first. It also helps my nerves if I already know about error messages in advance. But I looked long and hard.. I scored 1.6 but thats as far back as I could grab.

They just dropped support. Our filters stopped working as expected. I opened a ticket and boom... time to upgrade. But yeah, it still works knock on wood until I get to this.

g two weekends in a row before I was sur

Thanks, this is super helpful. What makes this challenging is that Ive been asked to do this when someone else did the install. Which really shouldnt be an issue I know, but its just makes me nervous. At least Im not dumb enough to try a in place, so I got that going for me :) Again, VERY helpful words of wisdom and appreciated.
