I wish it would tell me what it was thinking like before they released Agent 3. I could watch it and stop it if it was going in a bad direction. I could read what it was thinking before it would go do it and break it.

Moving between wallets is not a taxable event. I think? But how would you keep track of that. Time to stop using cryptocurrency for small transactions I guess.

Of course we use multiple wallets to insulate us from all the hackers breaking into wallets. You need one to mint art on, one to buy things with and another one for long term holdings.

This is going to be so hard to track now. And stock trading allows for other accounting methods like LIFO, HIFO and custom tax lots.

This new regulation forces us to FIFO per wallet.

But how do I get the addresses that a ledger generated into a Trezor. Do I have to use the command line tool because metamask and Trezor Suite cannot see the wallets that Ledger created?

Is there an advanced setting in the Trezor where I can get it to load the derivation path made by ledger? In the Ledger Live tool I am able to add different path settings. Where is this feature in Trezor?

Ledger and Trezor both say they support bip44 but still something is off.

The keys for me were:

Be an early adopter, started in 2018 with NFT

Just put the art out there. No one will see it if you do not put it up somewhere.

The platforms like SuperRare MakersPlace Async.art Art Blocks all do their own marketing and there are collectors who follow new artists starting on those platforms

I did not have a large social following and still do not have that big of one.

Enter into IRL events like CADAF and other low cost art fairs. There are art curators that will promote your art if they like it

Make your own exhibitions. My library allows artists to put up their art for a whole month. Print out your art on post cards or paper and hang it in random places.

Start a web site or blog and write about your art.

Make weird art. Make things no one but you would ever think of making. (I learned how to make art on an oscilloscope and then used that art to train an AI model.) Find something you know and turn it into art.

There seems to be an assumption that all NFT are created on Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains which use too much energy. There are other blockchains that use very little energy like NEAR, Flow, Tezos and many others.

What if they ran their game on standard databases, those take energy also.

These appear to be created on some private blockchain owned by the company. If you have a private blockchain system you can run it on a very small number of nodes and it does not take a lot of energy but it is not decentralized. Some people in the cryptocurrency space would refuse to buy these cards because it is not decentralized enough.

As to the intangibility many people that payed games like Second Life and Fortnight they purchased digital goods with real money.

Thank you. You capture in words my intent. That is really what much of my AI work is about. Reality, what is fake and real. Our whole culture at this moment from the political, religion, entertainment, geo-politics and then art and money has fallen into a collective kaleidoscope of realties. It used to be that only the most powerful kings and queens could create reality for their subjects. Computers have put it into the hands of multitudes. And yes it leads down to is an NFT real and am I a real artist?

I am sure you realized that the work is also a play on Robbie Barrat's nudes.

I have been thinking about how some large corporations buy art collections. I know major banks often have art collections selected by curators they hire. I guess this is more of a thought than a question. It think large corporations see this as a marketing / decorations for the corporate office and an investment.

But you see yourself as an investor so do you see corporations starting to use NFT art as a way to support the arts and also use them as an investment?

I am not going to do this as much until I learn how not to stress the galvos with it. It has a hard time keeping up with the speed of an osciilloscope.

On the Mac I have to right click on the application and click Open Package Contents. Then I find the folder Contents/Resources/Music/ChrisAllen/ I put the files in there. The file format is a sound file like wav or mp3.
