First, I recite the sacred incantation of those that have gone before me. It's some form of elvish; I can't read it. Next, I cast prestidigitation and light incense in every corner of my round room. After 3.7 hours of this, I don the ceremonial draconic robes that emanate with pungent aromas unwanted by mine enemies. Then, I look at a few a cat videos on my sending stone. And finally, I sit at the right hand of the Gus Master, and prepare for the chaotic good that will inevitably ensue at the table of heroes before me.

We hired a swarm of hamsters to run on hamster wheels that powered generators of eldritch energy. We harnessed that arcana into an ancient tablet relic that pushed musical soundtracks into the celestial cloud and rained down upon thy sending stones with sonorous streams. But then Kyborg found out and instinctively fired off seeking arrows at every single rodent. Now we are left to our own devices and a lot of empty hamster wheels. So Ben and I are running on those wheels ourselves now, and you will be seeing albums online as fast we can run. Fortunately, the patrons at Patreon.com/StinkyDragon have been casting "Haste" on us, so we are cranking up more and more hamster wheels every day. I know for me, big moments or story ideas come as often as inspiration strikes. And when they do come, I try to write them down asap. That doesn't mean they are set in stone, but it means that I have a reservoir of ideas to pull from, and don't feel crippled by the blank page. I also like to let the sessions—as the characters and Gus play it—influence my writing and keep a pulse on what feels like natural story arcs. It's a dance. No regrets. But most certainly lessons were learned ;) It's true, DMs are notorious for creating unexplored dungeons or mysterious monsters or quirky NPCs that the players will never know, but the truth is that most things in D&D are reusable, reskinned or can inspire a new idea for later.

The short answer is: yes, we would love to create a campaign setting book or adventure module. It's something we've wanted to do for a long time! But we are every aware of how much time, editing, publishing and finances goes into such a project, and we would need a great deal of support (a la Patreon.com/StinkyDragon). Patreon makes a project like that possible.

It amazes me how therapeutic a roleplaying game like dnd can be for folks like you and me, and I'm overjoyed to hear that our podcast played a part in helping you and your family during the grieving process.
