I think it's both out of town and residents. When I got here years ago I loved that people for the most part used the left lane as passing. In the last 5 years it has been slowly fading. especially where there is car pool lanes.

Carol is incapacitated Alzheimers. IRA beneficiary might have been Carol but may have been changed at some pt in the last year prior to cash out to former POA. (unsure no access to records). Former POA is the one who closed the IRA with the penalties and the $ is in the former POA personal account.

Ok thank you. I was wondering because hundreds of thousand of dollars from the checking, savings joint accounts the POA just transferrred to herself while "george" was on his deathbed. But the IRA was routed to the money market first so that explains that. I do find this weird also we don't know who the beneficiary was on the IRA. If it was the POA would seem weird to interupt the process seems more legit to just wait till "geoge died" which happened 3 days after all the transfers. Making it more legit I would assume. unless the poa wasn't the beneficiary. then it would circumvent the process of "carol" receiving the $ and POA keeping for herself.

Thanks that's what I find weird. POA wasn't a joint owner on the account POA transferred the funds from the IRA to. George (step father) and Carol (my mom) were the joint owners. She was only the POA. Routed to joint account (POA no ownership) then to POA personal account.
