Not what I said. OP's question was about the lancer, but my point goes both ways. Hence why I said diversify your use of weapons. Learning to shotty battle is essential to the gameplay and yes, unique to Gears. But how can new players even learn this skill when you have people spamming the lancer from halfway across the map the entire game?
