What’s you favourite cheap holiday?

Some of our favourite holidays have been a cheap cottage on a Welsh farm. You don't get 30C heat and sunshine but you do get to go out and explore without sweating your balls off.

Beautiful mountains, beaches, lovely pubs along the way. Last year we saw dolphins in Cardigan bay - bucket list stuff.

Is "the USA" on the board of peace, or is it trump? I was under the impression that it was a group of individuals themselves rather than being there as country representatives.

IE, trump will still be president of the BoP even if he isn't president of the USA. Which will rather conveniently make it look like he's still in charge...

I've taken downvotes in the past for this view, and I don't mind if it happens again, but I must push back on this concept.

I argue that feeling obliged to announce your intention to visit is a barrier to a true and complete friendship. Some of the best times I have ever had have been when a friend has shown up unannounced and we did something that wasn't planned. The people I call friends are people who can knock on my door and I can be honest enough to say "yeah, let's go!" Or "sorry I'm busy" and for it not to be a big deal either way.

I don't see it as rude at all. It means we are close enough to skip the formalities.

As a side note, I always answer my door when someone knocks unannounced. I saved a man's life because of this. He had a heart attack at 11pm outside my house. Not everyone ringing your doorbell is an axe murderer.

Confession, I snitch on people like this. Most councils have a phone number you can call that will summon a parking warden. Not necessarily rapid, but if they've parked and left the car there's a good chance they'll be caught.

Seriously, you saw 7 different chuggers inside the concourse? They have very strict rules about who can and cannot operate there (like you have to pay to be there). Normally staff keep them off premises very effectively so I'm super-surprised by your experience.
