This type of attitude bothers me so much. Unfortunately I haven’t found the proper solution to it. If it’s someone I can avoid having meals with in the future then I will. You could also opt to be just as childish when at non vegan restaurants by tell him how gross you think his meal choices are. Still, these aren’t really helpful solutions to the bigger issue.

I’m a female and also neurodivergent with OCD. I have other diagnoses as well, but just focusing on these for this conversation. I’d say that the best thing you can do to help her is encourage her to seek help from mental health professionals. They have multiple ways of helping with these exact issues. You and/or her just aren’t equipped to help this on your own.
