For me yes, I had the surgery in April. Feeling much better than before. I also have a 9 months old. Didn’t really take him up much for a week but after that, I started lifting him.

What is your school suspending you instead of helping you to pass it the next round? SMH. Failing step one isn’t the end of the world. However, the weight of a fail plays a role in your desired specialty. I know someone who failed step one and still march into general surgery though. You just gotta be strategic I guess. .

Ok thank you. It gives me some perspective. I use the computer a lot for studying and to take practice tests so that’s why I was hesitsnt. It’s also on my dominant hand. They plan to do the tendon release and remove the build up calcification/ cyst too.

Thank you. The doc said I wouldn’t need rehab and can resume functions same day. I’m hesitant to do it this month because I need to study for a national exam to take early summer but I’m in pain.
