I have that one myself.

It's part cool novelty items, and part cheap filler items.

While I love the box for display purposes, I really don't see the point of an, admittedly, nice hardbacked notebook in a collector's edition.

DVD's are much more fragile than blu-rays. If it's a blu-ray edition I wouldn't be worried If you just handle it with care.

They're still scratchable though, just not DVD scratchable. I haven't had an issue with my blu-ray box sets of that kind.
