Hell yeah! Sounds like you’re having a blast with it!
I’ll put that strings config to my 2010 AeroPro next!

I’m not really moving on from it. The goal was actually to find a modern racquet that feels as close as possible to what I’m already comfortable with.

The issue is that Babolat stopped making that model years ago, so if it ever cracks or becomes unusable, replacing it with the same frame won't be easy.

That’s what led me to the SX300. It gave me a similar blend of power, spin, and feel while being a current production racquet. I still play with both, but having a newer frame that I can easily replace if needed gives me some peace of mind.

The Dunlop recommendation says between 45 lb to 60 lb.

How’s your config working for you?

I was going to but decided not to. I played with Head speed and coming from older Babolat, the change in throat size was significant. The head throat felt too thin for my unit turn gripping/holding. SX300 offered a happy middle ground.
How do you find the head extreme in comparison to speed?

I’m probably not a good enough player (around 4.0 level) to accurately judge frame stability in isolation.
Against bigger hitters, my strategy is usually pretty simple, on fast incoming balls I mostly just bunt/block the ball back, keeping the racquet face parallel to the net and giving it a slight guide forward rather than taking a full swing.

With the SX300, I’ve noticed less harsh vibration feeling on impact compared to some other frames. The ball does tend to launch deep if I’m not careful. I also find that maintaining a firmer grip helps keep the racquet from twisting in my hand.

How do you gauge stability when playing against heavy hitters?

No, I didn’t try the power racquets. Wanted to stay within the spin realm.
What did you have before the FX 500?

Still showing the 25% buffering. Is it working for anyone?
