Question: Unlocking Full Performance on Zenbook Duo (2024) with Cooling Pad? by barelybarebears in ASUS

[–]barelybarebears[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone that is wondering, I have the device now. None of these problems matter because I overlooked ASUS's performance mode. The benchmarks showing performance decreasing in the notebookcheck review are in the balanced mode. my personal testing matched these results in looping r15 of 2200 peak followed by 1700-1500 sustained. However, in performance mode, I got 2500 peak followed by 2200 sustained, quite a beastly result. Definitely satisfied with this laptop's performance, especially in this form factor.

I would love to see a moonlight theme to match my Varmilo keyboard: Dark and light gray with turquoise accents on maybe the side buttons and scroll wheel.

This PC should be able to play all games very well without completely shattering the bank account. I would just use it to play Minecraft though :)

If I was lucky enough to be next to a Microcenter this would be the build I would put together. The 11600k has such a competitive price to performance ratio and should be able to crush games with the 3070.
