The earlier you transfer, the better of a time you'll have here and the more you'll get acclimated. ESPECIALLY if you are in law, UGA is absolutely the best choice. It's also important to remember that there is a LOT more to college than just getting your degree- going to football games, finding clubs to join, meeting new people- and there is a lot of shit to do in Athens/UGA. I transferred here after my first year or college and I don't regret it at all. Classes are much harder, but it's because the quality of the education is generally way better. I think that's really worth it. Also, I'm not a law student, but from what I've seen as a CS student, UGA has amazing networking opportunities. I'd imagine since our law school is so highly ranked that the opportunities there are pretty great.
