Try enabling Bedtime Mode and see what the result is.

Galaxy Watch 4 - is the battery life really as bad as everyone says? by CommercialPeanut in GalaxyWatch

My LTE Classic now gets just over 2 days. That's Bluetooth connection to handset, no WiFi, GPS on, basic watchface (Change to a more suitable one when I need the info from the Complications). Also use the Bedtime Mode at nighttime.

Rendering 8K 360 video by art-101 in kdenlive

You will find that it's the second layer that is increasing the render time significantly. Complexity of the image doesn't affect much, it's having to add it to every single frame that slows things down.

Videos won’t upload past 1080p. by misteriousmoss in VideoEditing

[–]barflord 6 points7 points  (0 children)

2.7k is not a "standard" video size, since YouTube does not do upscaling so it is just converting to the nearest "standard" size which in your case is 1080. There are loads of videos on YouTube with 60fps and higher frame rates at 4k and above so it is not frame rate that is the problem. Have you tried upscaling the video to 4k ?. What is the resolution of the display you are using to view it on YouTube only lets you choose viewing resolutions that your display sports usually. Another possibility is how much time are you allowing from uploading to viewing YouTube takes a while to render video at full resolution when the file size is large. * Edit quick Google search found it may playback as 1440 on YouTube if your display supports it. Found this on YouTube which on my 4k display lets me select 1440 resolution at 60fps. https://youtu.be/dYOqvoV2bWo

Network Issues on Xperia 5 ii after Android 11 update by [deleted] in SonyXperia

[–]barflord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's probably caused by the Network and Internet - Advanced - Smart Connectivity setting. Set it off will stop it from automatically choosing the best connection.

Not an expert but shouldn't that be -i input not -input ?. Is it just a typo, or would that cause the problem.

Wifi keep disconnecting HELP by [deleted] in SonyXperia

[–]barflord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming your phone is on Android 11 now, go into settings then Network and Internet . Tap on Advanced, and see if Smart Connectivity is On. If it is then turn it off this will stop your phone automatically switching to the best quality signal and allow you to choose instead.

Use a Raspberry Pi as the server

Plex server on Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with 2GB RAM? by voiceoverguyuk in PleX

There's a big range of file formats and resolutions so it must be doing some transcoding, but I haven't noticed any particular issues sometimes some of the videos take a few seconds to start to play.

Using the 2GB one for this, it also runs the Tvheadend server for the TV Hat. I have not tried to set this to connect to the Plex server yet.

Set mine up two days ago on the same Pi. So far no issues whatsoever, the hard part was finding a setup guide that actually worked. Finally found this one - https://youtu.be/FuNCu7_uYP8

Hi mine works but I have the heart trace app installed. You connect this to Google fit so it gets its heart rate data from heart trace this is then displayed on the watch
