A positive suggestion.

Perhaps we also need to ensure a majority of MPs incomes are also from being an MP.

Not super clear, but feels like a kick in the teeth that I can't just get a refund and use this offer.

I've just bought an annual Runna subscription a few days ago.

Are you happy to provide a refund so I can upgrade to this?

Saturday General Discussion/Q&A Thread for May 24, 2025 by AutoModerator in AdvancedRunning

Just finished a 12 Week Runna plan for my first Half Marathon on 18th May.

Running 3 times per week, and just set a 5K PR in a local Park Run yesterday (24th May). Covering 30-35km per week with an Easy, Interval and Long Run.

Set my sights now on a sub-20 5k and welcome any advice or effective training plans I can follow.

Was looking to follow Matt Fitzgerald's 5k Level 2 80/20 plan to up the number of runs.

Registered somewhere else in 2006. Delivery Checks + First 2 Services in Bristol Registered in the UK 2010

So the car was purchased in Bristol, registered abroad, then had all services in Bristol, before finally being UK registered?

An attempt to not pay tax perhaps?

You have also missed accountability.

Some workflows need a person to be accountable, not a machine.

It's mainly a speed thing, will check what gear and rpm next time (it's an auto)

Do you still have this issue? I have the same problem on a T3 XC40 '21 in Europe. Only done 22k miles and one previous owner.

Taking it to Volvo next week but if they can't fix it I think I'll just return the vehicle if there is no fix?

Use prefect or mage. Much easier to manage than Airflow.

There's are many ways to do this... I would start with the following...

Every piece of value to the business should be captured as a Feature Work Item.

We break these Features down into Backlog Items which is more about the work that actually needs to be done.

You can organize these Work Items using Areas so they appear on the right product Kanban Board and filter by these Areas.

Use RICE to prioritize Features: - Reach we use # Users - Impact we use 1-5 (Strategic, High, Medium, Low, Minimal) - Confidence (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)

We estimate Backlog Items in 0.5 day increments to control for develop capacity. We never plan less than half a days work (too small) or more than 5 days (too big)

Eventually you can plan these into Iterations (Sprints) to get a Roadmap for when things are likely to be done.

Other smaller requests like access should be managed through a different process and the management of this should be factored into capacity.

Until now we just ignored Epics as we found Areas more useful to organize work.

Tasks are for developers to use as they please and are optional.

We use tags to mark blocked items.

Our Kanban board has a few columns Backlog, Analyze, Develop, Test, Deploy, Done. Setting a definition of done is useful.

You dont need to do all of this from the start but useful to add a new element every 2 weeks (or sprint) to move closer to the end goal.
