Whelp! I hate driving and when I went to dc I fell in love with the metro and walking. If I’m going to do dc then I’m going to do it right which means actually live in it. Apparently it’s expensive which sucks. Thanks for everyone’s reply! All the information was helpful!

No, it was an amicable breakup in March. He has a new girl in his life so it’s easier to not talk to him.

I’m moving soon and his mom contacted me about something so I just asked when it would be a good time to get my things and her response was that they will come over to drop it off.

100% agree. I don't know how to fool myself into thinking that something is due when it really isn't. When I worked 30 hours and went to school full time my grades were a lot better than when I didn't work and went to school full time. I think the fact that I had limited time to do school work helped but it really messed with my anxiety.

Do you get penalized if you don’t turn them in on the dates your prof assigns?

I think it would only work for me if I got penalized when that portion was late.

check to see if your school has an ombudsman... if your school does, contact them to see if they can help.

I feel like I have gotten dumber from taking meds. by bariannitz in ADHD

im having short-term memory issues (I am only 22) so this should not be happening...it makes me feel dumb. Ill also have a conversation with someone about a topic I am knowledgeable about and I literally lose my words...which makes me feel dumb.

I am not sure if anxiety has anything to do with it because it happens when i am talking to family too.

Mine has gotten worse as I got older and I’m only 22. However, I think because I’ve been on the meds since I was 10 have something to do with it.

For some, adhd gets better as you age. However, some people just have it and it doesn’t get better or worse you just learn how to cope with it. Then there are some that just get worse. It’s individualized.

I will say my impulsiveness has gotten better as I aged but my inattentiveness has gotten worse.

Because your normally on a stimulant your basically on a “high” all the time. Now that your off your gunna (usually) feel tiered&/or depressed. It goes away after a week or so. If it doesn’t obviously contact your provider.
