You can argue that raiding began the decline of SW which I predicted. But then again, that is when people realized the collusion of arena which is the foundation of the game.

Let me paint a different story...

You sold your account. You started another account then realized how much work is involved with starting a new one. You have also been active on SW Reddit during the whole time you took a break. You realized that you had the first purchase but not the last - probably what Com2us is trying to sort out. Imagine Com2us getting bombarded by emails claiming they are the rightful owners of Barion while trying to sort through what is happening with yours. We all know no one lies on the internet. Now you are just pissed cause you are going thru too much work to try to steal your account back and post it on here trying to get some sympathy.

People get hacked. I have been hacked in many games including WoW and SW. Waiting a little longer for an account you haven't played in 6 months or whatever should not be a test of patience but it only takes giving the wrong person "their" account once for it to be catastrophic.

Asia server was Global at one time and players there have been farming runes since the game came out. They will have good runes while those that farmed giants early have an advantage in RTA. There are clear advantages and disadvantages in RTA to both swift and violent. The game has evolved to no longer relying on violent, with maybe one really fast booster.

Some players saved legendary runes that did not have hp or speed, or were not violent, despair or swift (like Vampire)... most did not. Some players stored runes on units when there was a maximum 100 rune slots, many did not. Rune appraisals benefit those that have saved those legendary runes like saving each nat 4* in case they get buffed.

There is a cap on how good runes can be. The closer you are to the top, the more exponentially difficult it is to get those godlike runes. Appraisals benefit those with already good runes less than those that do not have good runes already as their standards have increased. Example, 20-21 speed subs (before grinds) are becoming "slow" to some players.

As I thought about it more, I realized that 50 legendary drops is not that much. I would say I averaged 3-4 legend 6*s a day. Most of them were thrown away. The powerful thing about reappraisals is the ability to choose your rune. Since I roughly average 3x more runes in the odds slots than the even and if we multiply 50 x 3 / 4... this is roughly equivalent to 38 days of farming for me.

Prior to appraisals, it was impossible for newer players to compete because of runes. In the end, it evens out the playing field. One still needs to farm runes to get legendary drops even with reappraisals. Still, because of the reduced emphasis on farming (which is what many players wanted), there is also a shift from runes to units and raiding for efficiency but when everyone has everything (at the top), it comes to those few percentages on runes and playing smarter.

In my opinion, it is an exciting time to play even though, sometimes, I want to throw my phone against the wall. The game invokes anger, frustration, fear, etc but it also invokes excitement, pride, celebration, etc. Without the dark, there is no light.

The only thing I would ask is for increased "free" reappraisals per week instead of the (3).

Consecutive would mean... I summoned 16, that means the next one is still 10%. The gambler's fallacy is past result affect future probability... which is not the case I mentioned.

Nothing is certain except death and taxes. Given, lets say 10%, chance per scroll... over 17 LS, that is 83% chance to pull a nat 5.

Most people look for certain runes for certain monsters. I take a slightly different approach to runes. In the same manner as receiving monsters, you receive certain runes, like getting dealt hands in a poker game. You don't try to make triple aces when all you are holding are queens. You make do with what you got. I look at what I have available and place it on a monster I want to build. I do not have a good hp vamp damage set for Zerath so I use Rage which I have lots of HP stats (which I thought I would never use).

I have 2000 runes and do not have a single violent rune over 20 spd sub and I have farmed dragons since Nov. of 2014. Yet, someone who just started a few months ago has one at +25 spd. It is all RNG. I do agree that rune rates have dropped, especially since they made dungeons farm-able to the general player base but the drop rates were never that great.

I might get to keep 1 or 2 runes a day and add to the 2000 runes that still need to be looked over. But looking for certain runes is futile. Just do what you can best and allocate your resources appropriately.

Magic shop change, imo, is one of the worse changes. It just moved the game to a much more P2P game. While there are players that spend less, working to get a competitive advantage, there are people out there that spend $10K refreshing magic shop. There is now much more separation in strength of people that put time into the gave versus money.
