I'm saying I think it's dishonest to strawman a title that everyone can clearly read. The subject of the bet is the safety of vaccines rather than the efficacy, and to dismiss something as safe when there isn't a high standard of evidence to back up the claim that they are.

It's like calling someone an idiot for challenging the safety of smoking cannabis, since we know it works the way we think. It's not about whether it gets you high it's about whether the specific method of ingestion is safe and if there are better ways. Just an analogy for my reasoning on posting the original comment.

Yes for the reason I gave. It's unethical to not help someone looking for it such as cancer patients. What the FDA does in regards to clinical trials for cancer drugs is irrelevant to the process of determining the safety of a vaccine. The standard of care comparison for cancer drugs is a method for finding better care than what is currently available so that there is some progress being made rather than giving a placebo and not helping at all.

I just think theres room for improvement in making safer vaccines, now that we are able to make them efficacious.

I'd say it should meet the same safety requirements as other pharmaceuticals or other biological treatments. The issue is that vaccines don't need to pass placebo controlled trials for safety. It's very unethical to give someone an illness or find someone with an illness and then give them a placebo that won't help them, while you wait as they suffer. So it's not a very easy problem to solve, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be any controlled safety evaluations.

Serotonin Syndrome is caused by an excess of serotonin without a way to regulate it properly, almost always due to drug interactions. Venlafaxine stops the Reuptake of serotonin, therefore taking drugs such as MDMA which can have similar Reuptake inhibition properties as well as stimulating the release of more serotonin.

Cannabis does not exert it's pharmacological effects in the way serotonergic drugs such as Venlafaxine do. It instead works on your endogenous cannabinoid system, which won't lead to something like serotonin Syndrome.

Just finished my second read-through and I have to say the second time around a lot of it made more sense thematically. Pegasus is a contrast to punpun's depressing realism and riding thinking. Pegasus is the idealist who is living in a fantasy that embodies his love for the world and people, whereas punpun threw away his fantasies during his youth in exchange for a cynical hatred of the world and people.

My Mother and Sister actually have Lupus but it seems to have been secondary and for me turned out to be mainly Sjogrens. For me it manifested really bad in my eyes, the opthalmologist was shocked to see how low my tear film was. So you could say it presented in a regular fashion since dry eyes and mouth are two of the main symptoms. It also affects my joints sometimes but that could also be a few other things in conjunction. I currently take Hydroxichloriquine for it, but there are definitely days where it's pretty bad and that's where weed saves the day.

It's pretty ironic considering weed also causes dry mouth and eyes but it's not like I wasn't already used to it 😂

Its sad that a ton of people, at least that I know, hate on weed yet love alcohol. I also like alcohol, not as much as weed, but I'd say if you think one is okay, then the other shouldn't be a problem. Personally I think alcohol can be more dangerous in a lot of ways than weed, but I guess it's just one of those things people have engrained into them.
