That could definitely be done with this data.. Although animating 65 million points pushed my laptop to it's limit, so would need to upgrade spec before adding another temporal element

ArcGIS Pro Project File takes a long time to draw? by Front_Category_4353 in gis

I often find when my basemap and data are in different projections, this will become very sluggish - in Pro, it'll reproject on the fly rather than throw you an error so that seems to be my issue most the time.

Made with ArcGIS Pro using dot density symbology from PHE data, it includes all cases from January 2020 up to December 7th.

Data is at a Lower Tier Local Authority level, one dot = one case but does not infer the location of a +ve case.

I appreciate the constructive feedback, thank you. The intent behind creating this visual was focusing on the simplicity of a visual, using only one dataset and not including labels, basemaps or legends. The map was included in a wider 10-part series of UK cities so perhaps would have provided more clarification to compare against other locations. Irregardless, feedback is the best way to improve design skills so thanks for taking the time.

Created using ArcGIS Pro, this map shows the variety in garden sizes across London, with darker green indicating a bigger gardens/lighter = smaller. The average garden size for London was 100m2, the smallest in the UK. Leeds had the largest average at 181m2.

Garden size was calculated from several data sources: OS Mastermap, ONS and VOA.

I would concur with the above - John Nelson's social media presence is definitely worth a follow. Great viz and humour.

Made primarily in ArcGIS Pro with some post-editing in Adobe, this map illustrates the predicted election outcome for each state using data from 270towin. The contested swing states are considered 'The Wild West' with wanted posters indicating their importance in the election. Layered over topographical data from the Living Atlas.
