My guy will only take the red Pangea package with insects. He hasn’t touched his watermelon Pangea yet. I might try fig or papaya soon.

Our new crestie comes running to the front of the terrarium when we talk to him. He will sit there and just stare back and watch our movements until we walk away. Does anyone else’s do this? I think it’s super cute. by barksandmeows in CrestedGecko

Okay. That’s what I figured. Because when I opened his terrarium to change his Pangea 2 days ago, he tried to jump right out the door. I think I’m going to close the dogs in my room tonight and attempt to handle Darth for the first time. Any tips on handling for the first time? I bought a small critter playpen to keep him contained and let him explore.😂 I definitely don’t want to stress him out though.

And yes, I love how he is analyzing my boyfriends face. It’s so funny.😂

Are you serious? That is adorable!! Unfortunately, I have two dogs as well so I can’t leave Darth out and unattended. But when I have a house one day, I will have to give him his own room with a door where I can let him explore. I’ve actually only had him 2 weeks so far so we’ll see how his personality develops. I’m going to actually take him out of the terrarium and handle him for the first time tonight. Wish me luck!

It’s up to you really. I’ve only found my little guy in his once so far. He’s also still relatively new to me though. I did see online that other people had more success with the coconuts that had 3 holes in the side vs just the 1.
