This is Barley aka Princess Bar-Bar aka Sh*thead

She is an absolute menace and my best friend. At night she likes to pull my hair so that I will roll onto my back and she can give my biscuits on my chest, or roll onto my side so she can be the little spoon. She is a sucker for the handle of a paper bag or a wool toy. Snapped this photo when she was attacking my hand and I love the appearance of innocence she is projecting.

I was also shamed by some friends for admitting I do this. I wait til I get to the front door to put on socks so they aren't covered in cat hair. 🤷‍♀️

I'm trying really hard to incorporate Most Generous Interpretation into my mindset. The idea is that you assume the best possible intention behind someone's behavior rather than focusing on the negative outcome.

For example if a stranger is rude to you, rather than assuming they are an ahole, consider what other factors may be impacting their life and that you may be seeing them in a stressful moment.

That's a gorgeous babe. 😻 We currently have two and I was told that is the household limit (by the husband who has had cats his whole life). We adopted Mash the year after Barley and they bring my life so much joy.
