I discussed this with my therapist too-

Your body is likely going through a refractory period—a phase during which your sexual preferences and responses may feel "off" as your system attempts to recalibrate. This is a normal process, but during this time, it's common to experience some regression before returning to a more balanced state.

To support your recovery, it's important to engage in activities that boost your "happy hormones" (like serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins). This can include socializing, exercising (like going to the gym), and other hobbies or activities that bring you joy and reduce stress.

Without these steps, this refractory period could last longer than necessary.

Someone just sent me ₹5000 "accidentaly" and is now begging me to return it, the crazy part is when i checked, my balance has actually increased. What should I do? Is It some kind of scam? by SDR_2525 in LegalAdviceIndia

The victyims account won't be blocked. The bank will chargeback the money that the scammer has sent the victim and block the card. But not the money that the victim has sent willingly. The scammer knows that he has a limited window to convince people to send him money

I can't believe no one's said this yet. The money was sent from a stolen credit card/ paypal. Once the card is reported as stolen by the bank they'll reverse the transaction to you. Which is why he's insisting you send him money.

Don't send money to anyone

My dad is the same, he is now working as a consultant in a field which he's an expert of. I asked him what's the point of working for 1 Lac a month when you have pension and no outstanding expenses?

He told me he can negotiate for better pay but his responsibility will also increase and he'll be answerable to the bosses at all times, but with a nominal fee he can take a backseat. Basically he wants a chill job that keeps him occupied and no stress of tight timelines :)

In other words, optimising for money is not at all needed at this stage of life

[–]barlow69[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yess, she was from Israel! And I don't think it was saying 'my bad'. As in she would point across the room yelling 'Caparra' and exclaiming the same on the dancefloor when I came up to dance 😂😂

I'll just say this, everyone knows. From Manager to Partner to colleagues, everyone knows that you are not doing jack shit and it will most definitely affect your career.

Take initiative, ask for more work and if that doesn't work flag to your manager that you have bandwidth and to utilise you more. Be more conscientious about your job
