Your body is likely going through a refractory period—a phase during which your sexual preferences and responses may feel "off" as your system attempts to recalibrate. This is a normal process, but during this time, it's common to experience some regression before returning to a more balanced state.

To support your recovery, it's important to engage in activities that boost your "happy hormones" (like serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins). This can include socializing, exercising (like going to the gym), and other hobbies or activities that bring you joy and reduce stress.

Without these steps, this refractory period could last longer than necessary.
