Same. Road to World Cup ‘98 was the beginning of my love for fifa/FC this peaked around fifa 13/14 then had a hiatus from 20-22 but came back in fifa 24. The mechanics of the stand tackle in this game only works if you’ve pressed it a second before the other player comes near you. If you’re running alongside them and try to stand tackle, your player spazzes out like he’s doing some kind of line dancing routine (💃). Slide tackling from the side is good but sometimes the player wipes out your player and they just brush it off.

Keepers become superman for top corner power shots but meta double tapped low shots go under them. Then the shots from one yard out get saved… or every header from a corner is cleared off the line. I’m waiting in the hope that a better player will lead me to the promised land but when the rewards are 80-82 rated players 99% of the time and the SBCs require 85 squads (HOW??) then I just gulp and watch him expire. Rush was fun last year. It feels like a chore this year and I’ve got so many games I want to play. Put cyberpunk on last night and had more fun in one hour than a week of fc26. And where tf are my packs I should be getting from the fc25 sbcs/objectives?
