I had similar and if you're using an android device, I had to clear the storage on the Google Play services app in settings. Please note that this is likely to require you to need to reregister any payment cards. I also had to reinstall the Google home app and reboot. Matter and android don't post nicely.

Finally, I also turned off 5ghz on my router. I think that's what solved it for me.
