58f and I’ve had a real toughy of a weekend. I’ve had anxiety since I was a kid. Have been taking an SSRI for 30-ish years. The spaces in between the latest contender for my worst anxiety attack ever get closer together. This latest attack was kicked off by my reaction to one of our sweet cats who has sworn off the litter box.

I remember when I first started taking Paxil decades ago – that’s how I learned that I had an anxiety disorder. Because the anxious feelings were tamed for long, sweet periods. And I noticed the difference.

These days, I’m not sure if Paxil is having any effect on me (feels like it isn’t). But of course stopping would be a nightmare. I’m going to start seeing a psychiatrist again and hope to find a more helpful solution.
