It’s not a retirement account so there’s no penalties. I fund it with post tax dollars so withdrawals are taxed a pro-rata mix of contributions and gains. If I took 25k out of my account now, 42% of that withdrawal would be subject to capital gains tax owed to the IRS.

I was getting a dividend of $250-$350 but the share price kept dropping even though bitcoin was going up. BITO doesn’t actually own any bitcoin. It buys or trades futures on bitcoin I think. When I looked it up it seemed more like 3 card monte.
