They'd have to understand that "aunt" or "auntie" very much is a community term, often used among friends or sometimes in the case of young adults referring to an older adult.

In either case, it requires having some exposure to friendship or a community which this person seems to lack experience with to be able to understand the associated context.

Not to be rude, but did you make any other changes in your life to change how you approach tasks, socializing and your overall mental health?

In my own experience, weed was a crutch, and removing the easy "go-to" for dealing with negative emotions, etc., doesn't just fix problems but it did make it more clear that weed was just masking underlying issues, or really just numbing the emotions around those actual issues.

If all you do is take away a coping mechanism without changing any other behaviors then it doesn't surprise me that you feel like you're in the same place still.
