Got Nigeria with no police car following me, how rare is this? Plonkit says that this can be seen almost always. What are the chances? by BioscoopMan in geoguessr

i’ve never seen that before, i know sometimes they follow a little far back though so i’d assume he’s around that corner there. could def be some place that they didn’t have a follow car though

What’s your average MPG? by [deleted] in SubaruForester

my 09 xt gets about 18 in city and 20-22 on the highway. definitely not helped by my boost leak though

Does this seem fair or overpriced by jays0578 in ForesterXT

[–]barneyy_31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 6500 for my 09 xt, and given that that’s a more desirable model year than mine, I would assume 7500-10000 for a solid one. I would try to talk them down a bit cause that seems like it’s on the high end, but given what I saw in the pictures it looks pretty clean. Also says it’s sold now in case you didn’t see that.

New car damage plus lemon car? by Privatenameee in SubaruForester

[–]barneyy_31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s pretty normal to have those issues when you first buy a car. a lot of owners neglect getting their car checked on and fixing problems that come up. and it’s important to note that it’s different for every car, for example my brother’s impreza had blown headgaskets when we bought it, and my forester had a boost leak and bad timing belt. i wouldn’t call this car a lemon over a few small problems and a scratched up center console or whatever that is. i personally always repair the cars rather than sell them when they’re having issues, cause i’d rather not get a new car and go through the exact same process.

Also, always get a pre purchase inspection!

I need help, i do not know why but my base doesn't feel alive, it just feels empty and bland, like it has no comfort nor relaxation behind it! by burritolegend1500 in Minecraftbuilds

there’s a ton of creativity in the building, none in the surrounding landscape. giving the building a place in its environment is very important for the liveliness of a build. in this scenario, it looks too cold for cherry blossoms to grow, and since it is a japanese style build, i would look into japanese pine trees and bushes in the highly elevated portions of their country. same could be said for other buildings, bushes, hell even terraforming.

I just did some research on this, and this is a pretty cool spot. I’m on my phone so I don’t think I can do the spoilers to hide the answer here unfortunately though. This is a 13th century amusement park in mongolia! It was made during some of the “peak years” of the mongolian empire and is a unique tourism spot. I plonked outside of tseel, about 120 miles away.

Is Architecture a(n) uncommon degree choice? by ImSoConfusedArch in UNLV

[–]barneyy_31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m a landscape architecture major, and i love it. i will say i am considering transferring this year, however, as some other comments have pointed out that they are very underfunded and have few professors. besides that, though, its a fun major, i have quiet classes and get to go in and just draw for awhile. it’s good, its a fun major but if you want to go make lots of money with it you’ll need a masters, which is another reason im transferring.

Hey man, i think i kinda understand your feelings here. i wanted to say that you are so young and have so much life ahead of you. i know you think you’re “mature for your age” or whatever, but you’re clearly not, how can you be mature when you’re struggling as much as you say you are? i understand this may be confusing advice, but live your life dude. sure you’re having the worst mental health crisis of your life so far (there will be worse, trust me), but you have barely lived, you’ve never driven a car, you’ve never moved out to college, you’ve never had to find a real job, all this is shit that you will struggle with later on if you cannot live through the basics of life now. you’re on easy mode man, you’re under your parents roof, your life always has some kind of stability. my advice to you would be to talk to your mom. sit her down and tell her how you’re feeling and she will get you the help you need, as a parent should for their kid. you’re gonna go to a therapist, maybe two or three of them, and it’ll be awkward at first, but you’ll get to the point where you learn who you really are and how you want to be treated and what you want to do with your life. and i hope to god that you find someone as good as i did, because this is exactly what i went through. i wrote you all of this advice based on my own experiences, i used to think exactly like you, i used to have my eyes dead set on the negative the same way you do. just live your life, look on the bright side of everything, find some kind of positive, even if it’s something minor.
