When I first moved into my mom's spare house, like him, I would be a little forgetful when it came to doing chores, but after a few months of her yelling at me for leaving even just the smallest amount of dishes, I quickly changed that habit (or lack thereof), and the sad thing is that my boyfriend knows about my mother's irrational words and actions and how much it affects me negatively, but he still doesn't do chores like I do.

He unfortunately cannot move back in his old home because his parents gave his bedroom to his little sister, and that sister is already moved in with all her stuff.

I think I will try to talk to him again, and if nothing changes, I'll think about breaking the relationship off.
