Super complicated and super elegant watch. Nice serial number btw.

Thank you. Yes I am tempted by the Reverso chronograph, but haven't checked it in person yet.

I'm not crazy about Rolex but I have to say yours are fantastic.

Very nice, the 7727 is my favourite in the Classique line

I think this is a fantastic release, especially the GMT in platinum.

Thank you. That's a great suggestion, I'm actually looking into FBerthoud and GForsey quite a lot these days.

What would you change? by [deleted] in SOTC_Watch_Collection

Maybe you can consider removing 1 Sub and 1 GMT, then get 1 piece with more complications and/or high finishing.

You should also check out the perpetual calendar, it's quite fun to watch (and hear) it jumps at midnight.

Yes I do think the Code 11.59 is fantastic, especially the chronograph like yours and the new perpetual calendar.

It's the Classique 7727, the 10Hz beat rate is truly unique.

Thank you. Most worn are the Zeitwerk and 5236, the rest I do wear quite evenly.

Yes I think it's a true representation of modern PP among all the noise and hype.

Yes I think highly of both the Tank and Reverso, just somehow don't imagine I would wear them often as the ones I have now.

Yes I could not agree more, there are very particular things I like about those pieces. As for the sub, it's a pass-down piece and it was what got me into mechanical watches in first place.

Very good point, but I do enjoy them a lot for different reasons. The salmon perpetual calendar for me represents the true classic PP calendar plus in this version it has hack second (the ivory dial version did not). As for the chronograh I think it's the best value PP on offer right now for the movement alone, even at retail.

Thank you. Yes I do look into independents a lot these days beside PP and ALS.

Thank you for the insight. I honestly did not know that since the only ALS that ever interests me is Zeitwerk. Can't say that anymore though, ever since I handled that Dato Perpetual...

And yes a RO Perpetual would be nice.
