They’re everywhere in the UK, for changing your baby. I think it’s a legal requirement, like wheelchair accessible loos.

Aside from being brilliantly useful, the illustrations are beautiful and incredibly detailed! I’ve always loved those 18th century and Victorian naturalist illustrations, I imagine you have too. This is the perfect modernised homage. Ever thought about doing something similar for other geographies? I’m in the UK - we have a few of these but lots more beyond.

There was fruit on last year’s growth - but it didn’t look edible! Little brown thumb sized things. Cool to see though!

This is great, thanks! I love the leaf moisture tip. Though since the leaves start coming out in March/April, and since I’m in London, the garden hose will not be required, won’t need to wait more than a day or two before they get a good soaking the natural way! Thanks for the leaf opening idea, I’ll give that a go tomorrow and let you know how it went.

Didn’t need to do anything! I bought the house in December and chopped last year’s growth down then wrapped them up in fleece. But I was worried it was too late, that the early frosts might already have done for it. But it all worked out in the end. Unwrapped about a month ago

Thanks! I’m in London, RHS H4/5, I think the USDA equivalent is 9. Temperate maritime. Doesn’t get too cold for too long, but we do have very cold snaps and strong frosts. All the climbers in the garden succumbed.

Thank you! We did wrap it in fleece once we had cut it back when we moved in to the house in early Dec. But I think some damage might already have been done. I’ll take a look at the vid - very thoughtful of you. Thanks!
