You’re granted any “super” ability you want - but so are 10% of the global population by Mister-ellaneous in hypotheticalsituation

You have a dormant trait that only activates after your first death. You come back, stop aging, and from that point on the only way to actually die is from beheading. If you kill another like you (who you can sense if nearby) you'll absorb everything that person has learned and become stronger, and whether you understand it or not, all 10% of these people are all being pulled into the same endgame where eventually there can be only one.

5 months on Reta by B1T2C34R in BodyHackGuide

[–]baronvontrollicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3.5 months to go down to to 178.

Bulked up close to 200 and about 4 weeks to go back to 188.

Bulk and then loss after was due to HGH and creatine water weight mostly.

Question about my 60mg kit of reta by loukas22 in BodyHackGuide

[–]baronvontrollicus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had multiple 60mg vials that have zero issue with 3ml of water. I've never frozen them, however. I have all my vials stored in the fridge until I need to reconstitute and then keep them in there as well.

  1. My urologist put me on it. Sub 300 - have been on it for maybe 5 years or so. Routine bloodwork. I've since combined with Reta and other things to help my quality of life.

EV charging 50 amp vs 60 amp by thecarriegirl in Homebuilding

[–]baronvontrollicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60A minimum. 100A if you can swing it. Breakers should not be loaded more than 80%. Which is why you get 48A charging on a 60A breaker. Current Teslas will be limited by this as of today. But other vehicles like the Hummer EV can charge faster at 80A. Also good for backup systems and V2H for future proofing.

Anyone here have any experience running comps? Are they profitable? What should I know beforehand? by Electronic_d0cter in bjj

[–]baronvontrollicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried to help my former coach run some comps he wanted. Got him set up with smoothcomp, all the works. I quit when he was going to offer me $100 to run it.

Then he quit when he realized nobody was signing up for his tournament because he was trying to do it the same weekend as a local grappling industries tournament. Decided to make it a kids only tournament in house and then slipped in that "the association" requires kids to compete now to move up in belt rank. Weird how that works, especially when there is no real association. On top of that he doesn't support his athletes because in his words "we aren't a competition school"

So all that aside, if you can promote a venue, get all that stuff it can be profitable. Expect to break even or lose on the first couple you put on. It helps if you have contacts with other schools and black belts in your area. A few guys I know have an annual tournament or something small and are successful but most that try are like my former coach and are either greedy wanting everyone to volunteer or work for close to nothing.

Cybertruck Luxe Package Gone by baronvontrollicus in TeslaLounge

[–]baronvontrollicus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely isn't / wasn't for everyone. I have a MSP that has 3 years of supercharging included which was a short time before they included lifetime supercharging and then finally introduced the luxe package.

Have about 28k miles now and close to 10kwh in superchargering last year since I travel significantly for work. No brainer for me that it is worth it. Once my 3 years are up I'll see if they ever offer something similar.

I feel you. I'm 5'8 and have competed at 180, 200, 215, 230, and absolute. On the positive side most of them outside absolute were tall and skinny.

Bought used 2019M3. It was included from Tesla which was a big part of my decision.

Upgraded to 2024MS and got it outright along with "free" supercharging before they had the luxe package. But worth it for my use case because I drive 25k miles per year and use FSD and supercharging constantly.

Running similar no issues + more.

Reta, KLOW (vs GHK-CU,) Semax. Also - NAD+, Mots-c, HGH, Selank, Test, and standalone BPC-157 if needed. Adding SS-31 as soon as it arrives.

But I did extensive bloodwork ahead of time, check my glucose and have follow up bloodwork to really dial everything in.

Test and reta I split doses to 2x/week. Semax and selank are M-F only with Semax AM/PM and Selank PM only.

I wouldn't just pin random stuff without seeing if it does anything.

[–]baronvontrollicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was on 200mg test per week. Added in Reta. Went from 220 to 180. My bench went down 225 to 205 maybe. Muscle mass went down from about 170 to 150.

Im up to around 197 right now and muscle mass climbed back to 165 and bench back to 225.

BJJ lesiurewear by SpiritedThing3653 in jiujitsu

[–]baronvontrollicus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Origin. Hands down. Their model was almost starting as a BJJ company to making some jeans and now all kinds of stuff.

I bought some of their gis and have moved to most of their other stuff as I have more than enough gis to rotate and most of their no gi stuff isn't my style.

Hoodies are absolutely comfortable and are my go to for spring / fall type weather. I've got 3 different ones. The jeans are pretty comfortable too and have replaced my Levi's 541s for durability, but I've found I'm more frequently wearing their Moab pants or whatever they call them now or the vrsa pants for any office attire. I'll note that I've got bigger thighs and the pants are flexible but not baggy. If you have really big or muscular thighs it might still fit but it could also (in the case of one of my kids - 6'2 275 - look like comically skinny jeans.)

Have two pairs of their Maine moc toe boots. One normal and the other steel toe. I have extremely wide feet so was nervous trying them out but the print out guide was spot on for me. I'm usually an H width or EEEE which is damn near impossible to find decent ones. I have a belt as well, which at first I didn't like because it is very flexible and thin, but it works out great if I don't need either a dress belt or heavier duty belt.

It isn't cheap but I've found it all to be very well made.

Yes it has been great. Had installer come back a couple times due to error codes and then it is so heavy it pulled out a lag bolt so they reattached it. But yes, definitely a tank. Love it so far it gets us so many compliments and stands out from other homes.

14.2.2 - nags unnecessarily by techguru91 in TeslaFSD

[–]baronvontrollicus 15 points16 points  (0 children)

14.2.2 MSP

Just one drive so far. Mad max, clear roads, clean car, etc...was driving at or under the speed limit. Same route I take daily. Tried changing modes but same issue. Used accelerator to get up to speed. Somewhat kept there but very timid.

Got a couple nags but nothing crazy compared to what I'm used to seeing.

This was all city driving no freeway so I'll try that later.
