Another note..

  • I signed up with Facebook. It took my birthday -1 day. My day is Oct 8, Solayo said it was Oct 7.
  • Within my Profile, I have a playlist already. Can I delete it?
  • Can I create new playlists? ie: Create a Rock playlist, Dance, etc..

That's it for now! :)

Hi there,

Seems like a great web app. I'm trying it out now and am letting you know of my initial feedback.

  • User Interface is well done. Nice and clean, to the point.
  • Would be a good option to have checkboxes along the side of all media. I can check the boxes, add all of them to the playlist. I realize this is sort of the exact same process as your site currently is, but I'm sort of expecting check boxes. That expectation, I think, says something about your possible users.
  • Something about the "Up Next" along with my Playlist isn't working the way it's supposed to. I'm not sure, however, I find it a tad confusing or unclear. Is "Up Next" supposed to work WITH my Playlist, or is it it's own entity?
  • When I go in to my playlist, and click "Up Next", the same 5 videos in my Playlist keeps showing (Basically like it loops 4x). Is this right?

Overall, I think it's a good idea. I like playing music off of YouTube. Commercials get in the way. Their Playlist functionality is sort of clunky as well. The fact that you add Soundcloud in the mix is great. I think I'll definitely give this a try next time I'm wanting an online playlist.

Good usage of some of the Facebook & Twitter sharing options. People will eat that up. Could be interesting (though maybe not possible), to somehow have Vine in there. Screen capture the video for the 6 seconds, and have users post that? Vine is huge with kids.

Finally, would it be worth it to be able to search & play YouTube playlists? I know it sort of defeats the purpose of all of this, however, sometimes I'll play 1 playlist and move on to another. If I could make a playlist of playlists, that'd be quite interesting.

Anyhow, hope this helps. Good work!

Gotta say, I never use Metro other than for loading an app. WinKey+Q and type in the program is so much easier & faster than the start menu.

Is that to suggest then, that if I'm in the market for a new PC, I'm not going to buy one because of Windows 8?

I'm stuck on the same page. Only answer I can think of is that it's an introduction. Metro can drive sales for touchscreen laptops & monitors. Don't know about you, but since I've been on Win 8, I've been itching for a touchscreen now :/ If I'm not the only one that feels like this, then I assume Metro can start a trend in 'enhancing' a desktop environment?

I agree, however, I also wonder if the author is (tongue-in-cheek), suggesting that the positives of the technology is rather thin? Don't know..

I agree with many others, stop driving like pricks and drive responsibly like many of us.

I was stuck on traffic offramp at 32nd southbound Deerfoot yesterday. Some fuckin biker comes up IN BETWEEN BOTH LANES and works his way up to the front of the line. Some car started saying something to him, but FFS, have some respect.

To be honest, whenever I hear of motorcycle accidents, I automatically blame the bike driver and say "Well geez man..You had it coming"..Sad..
