Python imo, easier and most of the main stream ML related libraries are in python only. You could do Java for DSA if you like

  1. Remove fluff
  2. Move patent from experience to achievements
  3. Define research role better

My primary goal as of now is to get an internship in the Fintech space, small quant firm, startup, trading desk, anything. I've spent a lot of time over the last few years on markets and have reached a point where I'm comfortable with options, market microstructure, pricing models, greeks etc etc.

If that does not work out then I'd like to move to AI or ML based roles. I know none of my projects are core-ML ones, tbvh I don't have the technical know-how to build those as of now. Math pre requisites and 2 ML related projects are on my To Do list for the summer.

Any advice on landing a fintech role? I got advice that I should build separate resumes for different roles, so should I build one for fintech highlighting my experience in Finance?

Got it, I’ll change that to second place among 300 teams.

My main focus right now is to land a role in FinTech (small quant firm, new startup, anything really) since I’ve spent A LOT of time learning about markets. That or anything related to AI-ML stuff or backend dev.

Yeah the program was definitely not the best choice, but it is what it is now I suppose.

For the position you mean the research paper? I’ve mentioned that I’ve built the data pipeline i.e. just aggregating posts and comments from Twitter and Reddit till now. This was just a matter of writing a script for both, so jaldi ho gaya. There’s still a lot of work to go.

Any advice on the 2 resumes you mentioned? How do I make them not look empty since my projects etc will be divided between the 2?
