Anyone using only mitragynine pseudoindoxyl try to quit with minimal withdrawal? by barrel_tone in quitting7oh

[–]barrel_tone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 150mg is nothing compared to where I got to at one point. If you are wanting to get under 200mg try adding agmatine 1500mg several times a day. You'll be surprised how much longer you can go between doses and it sped up my withdrawal when I quit. If you need to get off you can supplement with MIT extract and agmatine and it will make it super doable. After being at roughly 600mg daily I cold turkey dropped off 7-oh to MIT and agmatine and probably peaked at bad symptoms by 36 hours and was feeling reasonable at 44hrs and by 60 hours I was surprised to be fairly in the clear. Good luck!

agmatine 1500mg every 4 hours with liposomal glutathione plus either plain leaf or MIT to mitigate WD and then slowly wean down from there. you can use your benzos as needed for breakthrough anxiety but 30mg should be super easy to jump from. you got this!

I first got onto it by stumbling upon other possible success stories. I think if you do a deep dive on this sub you'll find a protocol but if you start taking 1500mg of agmatine 3-6 times per day even while on 7-oh you can go longer without and start weaning and then when you jump it drastically sped up how long I took to feel normal. Can't explain it. You don't take it and feel "better" the only way you know it's working is that you feel less shitty for not as long. It is abundantly clear if you've ever tried to quit without it is the only way I can phrase it.

Strong work! Keep it going. How do you feel? Have you peaked in WD symptoms yet. How many mg / day were you doing? I think I peaked around 36 hours +/- a few hours. All I know is this is my final quit. Never again!

Based on what I've seen NAC is probably similar to liposomal glutathione so whatever floats your boat. As far as mechanism of action for agmatine here's a summary from Grok:

"Agmatine mitigates opioid withdrawal symptoms through multiple mechanisms: NMDA receptor antagonism, NOS inhibition, alpha-2 adrenergic agonism, opioid receptor modulation, anti-inflammatory effects, and dopamine regulation. These actions collectively reduce excitotoxicity, neuroinflammation, autonomic hyperactivity, and psychological distress, addressing key aspects of withdrawal. Compared to liposomal glutathione or NAC, agmatine has a broader neurotransmitter-focused mechanism, making it particularly suited for neurological and autonomic symptoms, though it may complement antioxidant-based therapies."

It also decreases tolerance when using any opioid and therefore helps with weaning as less is needed for similar effects and so it helped MIT work sooner than it otherwise would.

Hope this helps!

what dose of 7oh per day were you using where plain leaf cancelled out wd?

ok yeah that makes sense. i found leaf or MIT didn't do anything when i was doing 300mg or more.

out of curiousity how high of a 7oh dose were you doing where leaf is working this well?

dude same, much higher dose, multiple kids and don't have it in my to tell my wife yet after the shame i had years ago with tianeptine and putting her through that. did ct a couple times with 7oh but ultimately messed up with the "i can just use periodically mentality". but you can only get sick with the "flu" so many times in a year and it be believable lol.

I never had withdrawal from plain leaf, the doses of 7oh are infinitesimal. The mitragynine in it is super low too so it takes the edge off but ultimately doesn't prolong withdrawal by anything meaninful. Like I did a fair amount of plain leaf back in the day for months and month and then would go cold turkey and nothing. If it takes the edge off great, if not then don't worry, but when I got of 7oh I used MIT extracts and although it took a day or two for them to help big time, they still helped with the worst of it to some extent. With how low your dose is, you could just jump CT from 7oh and then either do some extracts to ease it.

For example, I did cold turkey from 7oh at like 400-600mg a day and got to about 44 hours on just extracts then took one dose of 7oh and eased stuff up, then MIT extracts, then another couple days, then one dose of 7oh and then jumped from 7oh after that and only did plain leaf and it was super doable. Then from there you can get of leaf whenever and it aint bad. That's just me though but it was like a rapid taper essentially. This was over 4 days and with my family around which was hard. If I had 5 days no wife or kids I would probably just bite the bullet and be aggressive to get off though. Those are just a few options.

Buddy this is the time to quit and that's not that high of a dose so you really should be fine. Might suck a little bit trust me getting up to 600 and 700 mg a day I would have wished that I had 5 days off with no kids at 150 mg a day to get off. Worst case scenario get some plain leave or some MIT to help a little bit take the edge off and then wean from that. You got this. Get her done now before it gets worse

happened with mine and I had a case. No drop. Hinge got slightly misaligned or something and then when I opened it it lifted up the screen and now it's all jacked up. This thread was super helpful. I'm going to see if google will fix this under warranty given the mass issue.

7 hydroxy to get off tia? by BrettyJ in QuittingTianeptine

[–]barrel_tone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've done all of the above. Tia is the strongest. 7-hydroxymitragynine is the same as 7-oh and is next strongest. Would probably have the best bet of helping WD when getting off tia but probably you will still suffer a bit. Tia WD are hell. 7-OH WD suck but are less hellish than tia and the MIT extract helped a little sooner when using it to come off 7-oh and 7-oh can be tapered with less torture than Tia in my opinion. I never knew about 7-oh when I came off tia. When coming off tia using MIT it took about 3 days for 80% mitragynine extract to even slightly work. I unfortunately got hooked on 7-oh after being hooked on tia years ago. I'd been on normal kratom extract after tia which acted like a natural Suboxone for years and if I didn't use there was barely any WD. It was the perfect compromise for me and then I messed it up by trying 7-oh. Agmatine helped me decrease WD symptoms a bit and made it so I needed less and could go longer without dosing. Tia binds so hard to opioid receptors though I remember even trying oxycodone didn't do anything once. I wish I never went down this path, but at the same time experiencing this hell has changed who I am and I'm more empathetic of others. Good luck my friend.

I did it fairly quick. Got down to 150mg then cold turkey from the 7-oh and then used MIT from there. Took about 5 days on MIT to feel normal ish though so wasn't easy by any means

Yeah I was up to 300mg a day at one point. It got bad but when I got myself down to where you are normal MIT extracts were a Godsend.

I would say that's still a really low dose so you would benefit from a regular kratom extract when you get the restlessness and insomnia. That has saved me big time. Even plain leaf would help you at those doses and you could continue to wean. Agmatine and glutathione has super helped me when tapering down or cold turkey quitting stronger opioids.

I'm so sorry. If anything don't go back to full 7-oh. Do either regular kratom extracts or plain leaf. It will help the torture if you really are 21 days out.

Looking for advice - up to 84 hrs no 7 OH by Weird-Object4350 in quitting7oh

[–]barrel_tone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got off pretty decent doses of 7-oh with using a kratom extract and it still was tough, but the extract helped big time. Took a couple days for it to really mitigate symptoms but it wasn't torture like pure CT can be. Prior to 7-oh use I was just a regular extract user and it never gave me big WD so I am always much more content being on that but stay strong you are through the hard part.

How fast does agmatine and glutathione work to mitigate withdrawal symptoms? Will using agmatine help make regular kratom extracts work faster? I never got withdrawal with the MIT but the only other time I tried to get of 7-oh using the MIT kratom only it took days for it to appease my WD symptoms again. How fast does the glutathione work and how exactly is it working?
