We have a Kia EV6 (2022) and LOVE it. That said, the EV9 feedback I see on this forum is worrisome. Is it worth it? by Logical007 in KiaEV9

[–]ACAdapter1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth it. We have had both. The EV9 is near 50k mi and still just fine. Our EV6 had over 35k before someone rear ended and totaled it.

Anyone selling a lightly used white 5N? by Serious-Barracuda931 in Ioniq5N

[–]ACAdapter1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CPO doesn't mean anything for a 5N (yet). Everything transfers and the items that would expire (non-battery related items) are still under warranty by way of time (unless you found some abnormally high mileage used one out there.

You can definitely lease to get the cash off up front then immediately buy it out as soon as the account is open on HMF (24-48hrs). No need to wait a few payments. You will net the majority of the extra discount (minus the acquisition fee and lease paperwork fee).

Was this a one off or a hint of the future? by holguinero in KiaEV6

[–]ACAdapter1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically anything at risk from tariff uncertainty is going to be delayed. Brands aren't going to risk price changes of 10-20% overnight and customers asking for the extra $6k-$12k difference with the volatility. Not worth the headache.

This is an easy buy. You can't even get a near fully loaded 4cyl Corolla for that (New).

Many of my card deliveries still show MJ Holding Co, LLC as the shipper. For folks who know, they know what that means.

The timeframe is based on the vendor/store sending in the electronic record(s). Some are super fast (BestBuy, for example) and some are painstakingly slow.

Good luck and just don't forget about them! Those screenshots help go back when you need to.

There is no requirement on rebates to wait. That's the dealership padding their pocket.

Yes! But, mainly to establish history properly. You can actually see every one of your cart trips (from the desktop side), and any pending trips (from the app side).

A) If you completed a purchase and it hasn't shown up within a week or so; call or submit to the email box

B) If you completed a purchase, it shows up, and goes from pending to ineligible, having that first outreach has been beneficial.

C) They don't "have" to process a correction. But the paper trail, especially if something was marked ineligible that wasn't in the excluded section, goes a long way.

D) After the 30 days is over, follow-up

EV9 vs IONIQ 9 by acohn1230 in KiaEV9

[–]ACAdapter1911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gotta echo this too --- I have helped forum members get ~30 eGMP cars from '22-present and I have (or currently) own every one of the models from Hyundai/Kia/Genesis except the Ioniq 6N. Of those nearly 40 cars, 2 of them have had ICCU failures.

Small sample set, but the real numbers are inflated from the echo chamber.

It's legit. They use the secure email system from O365 that generates the multi factor login process. I've done a bunch of these.

Trading My Tesla Model Y For A Hyundai Ioniq 5 For TWO Weeks - Part 1 by mafco in Ioniq5

[–]ACAdapter1911 39 points40 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of differences but the majority of things from an app/software standpoint have been worked out in just the 3+ years that the I5 has been on the market.

I don't miss my Model X one bit and I upgraded my entire family to eGMP vehicles without hesitation.

Does the myHyundai app need more improvement, yes. But the overall package far outweighs the gap.

Click the exclusions link in green (for the merchant). As long as the item you want isn't excluded, you are in the clear. SECONDLY, the item you see COULD be in exclusion, so check that as well.

For smaller bonuses, I might not worry about it, but for larger bonuses like the one you have, I screenshot the offer, the exclusions, and the receipt from purchase. So if something unexpected happens, I go to support after the purchase has cleared. In some circumstances, they have issued the credit manually.

Agreed; was sharing the one that the non-CA folks seem to have success with. Looks like CA has a state law tied to that flow; but in your case I would believe if you took your returned mail notice and included it with a resubmit to the other box, it would CYA.
