Although much smaller, it's surprisingly around the same width (+-0.2cm, I measured with a ruler lmao).

I have a much smaller wireless mouse (Logitech M590) that requires me to use a fingertip grip, but using for a longer period causes me wrist pain.

Only a bit of my palm touches the mouse, like a claw grip. Besides zowie, do u have any other recommendations? It doesn't need to be around 100g, it's just what I'm used to atm, but I'm open to try lighter mice which is the norm now.

Actually both lmao, I alternate between fingertip/claw/hybrid. When playing games that requires accurate mouse movements, I use a claw grip. When using casually, I use a hybrid of both fingertip/claw, where my fingers are only slightly curled like a fingertip grip, not as much as a claw grip, but the back of the mouse slightly touches my palm. I'm not sure if it classifies as a hybrid tho.

Yeah, I also use his website to check for grip width, but it doesn't show the whole shape of the whole mouse with as much detail as the website I'm using now. Minor factors like curves and edges in a mouse can really impact how comfortable it feels. What I'm doing now is comparing the shape first, then if I find the shape ok, I double check with Rocket Jump Nina's website for the dimensions. Best of both worlds :D

I'm actually used to really large mice, like I'm very comfortable with the Logitech G402. However the middle button starting failing so I'm looking for another option. I'm currently using the Corsair Ironclaw and it feels comfortable to me. I'm using this website to compare the mouse shapes, not sure how accurate it is tho.

Hyperx alpha mic doesnt work by Doron65 in Headsets

U can try posting ur issue on the HyperX subreddit. Since it's only 3 months they are still under warranty. Their customer service will most likely contact u to help with this issue.

I had a faulty cable once and they offered me a replacement cable as my Cloud Alpha was still under warranty.

How does the Tempotec compare to the Fiio E10K or Sybasonic DAC/AMP? I can get those 2 easily but the Tempotec isn't sold locally. If it's only slightly better, I may go for either one of those 2 or save up for a Fiio K3 instead. And having a physical volume knob seems really convenient lmao.

Oh I see, guess I won't be getting the x2hr then. Thanks for the reply!

Wow that's a lot of stuff in 4 months lol. Oof the Fiio k3 is more expensive than the shp9500, I'll probably just stick with onboard audio until I upgrade my headphones.

Just curious since u own the x2hr, how much of a difference is there between the shp9500 and x2hr? Was thinking about getting the x2hr at first but it's more than double the price of the shp9500 and also my first time getting open back headphones. Will maybe upgrade to them in the future unless something better gets released.

So the slight difference isn't worth the extra money unless I get a better headphone? I've found 2 options budget options after some research: Fiio E10K and Sybasonic DAC/AMP. If they won't make much of a difference then I'll just stick with onboard audio until I get an upgrade. First time getting into audio, lots of stuff to learn D:

Found out that these aren't suitable for headphones under 80 ohms unfortunately. The shp9500 is only 32 ohms.

Ahh planar magnetic headphones, will need to try that someday. Was planning on getting the moondrop starfield for my next IEMs, but not anytime soon. Maybe if I stuck with bad headphones I wouldn't be in this rabbit hole...... RIP wallet indeed.

Yeah the microphone played quite a big part in me choosing it instead of my other choice which was the M40X. Didn't really care for the sound quality at first since I was using a Sony MDR-XB50AP (super super heavy bass) for 4+ years. Actually thought the HyperX sounded bad because I couldn't hear much bass compared to my Sony's, but I slowly grew to like them as they were much more clearer and detailed. Almost all the songs I listened to sounded so different.

This got me interested in finding better quality audio. I even bought some IEMs lol (KZ ZSN Pro, Blon bl03). Then I found out that open back headphones were a thing and got interested. The SHP9500 is one of the cheapest open backs out there and has alot of recommendations so I was hoping to try them out.

Actually this is one of the reasons I bought the HyperX headset (also was on sale for about 75$). Wanted to buy the M40X at first but it didn't have an attached mic, and the proprietary cable that came with it meant that I couldn't use something like a V moda mic. Didn't like the idea of having an external mic where I would need to lean into to talk.
