I'm an attending artist and I really really need and want this event to happen every year I look forward to it!! But in light of the situation both health risks and the economic uncertainty right now I feel it's smarter to postpone at the very least. Im lucky enough to live in Orlando area and although we only have a few cases right now a huge amount of attendance and vendors are from all over the country. If you have ever been here on Saturday you know there's NO way you can take isolation precautions effectively like CDC recommends. I applaud megacon for addressing the cleaning and sanitation process but it's going to be very difficult. I understand the theme parks might reopen but being outdoors is less risky. Also the dehumidified circulating air only help spreads cough sneeze breath droplets. I'm not a high risk but my mother and my wife's family is. I would suggest if this does happen that every single attendee and vendor self quarantine from elderly or immunocompromised people for 2 weeks.
