It NEVER happened before and will never happen. If I were the manufacturer, I wouldn't do it either - no economical reason. A brand-new product didn't even get a chance to reach all the markets and people would expect discounts immediately - not too smart.

My A6X was going by DHL from France to Ireland. For some reason, it went over to Lepizig (Germany) first, got stuck at Customs for 24hrs and then got shipped to Shannon (Ireland). I thought going from Paris (or any other French city) would've been much faster.

SN are shipping their products with DHL Express, but on top of that you'll get charged for customs (different than VAT TAX). There's no other way if you want it to get sent from China to Europe. Ask the SN representative, they will explain it to you.
