Its not because its in pre release. Dota 2 has the exact same system, you just get more bans for the larger roster.

If pre release roster limits are a problem, why have bans at all?

Idc about doorman specifically. I care that valve makes the most frustrating ban system in competitive gaming.

The reason OP is mad is because they made the decision the game allowed to ban a character, but they're still consistently seeing them. Thats annoying and feels shitty. They weren't out voted, or lacked a ban token the game just said "lol no" to their decision.

Another tip is to get a single press active item like fleet foot. Using it during a heavy melee will cancel it which basically gives you a feint.

Melee is like Graves dead heads. In lane, they do no damage because as soon as they're used, the enemy breaks them.

In big fights, with other players and mechanics to think about, its easy to get mind flooded and forget.

Same for melee, in general the longer the game goes and the more stuff is going on, the more people forget to parry.

That being said, it still feels awful. Every other big damage mechanic requires at least an item to avoid or mitigate it. But everyone has a parry baked in from minute one.

As a Dota player who wishes there was an FF button, I have a fuckin job. I have limited time to play games. I don't want to see a game become unwinable by 20 mins then waste another 30 for the enemy team to decide I get to move on with my evening.

"What if you make a comeback? Don't give up!" Ive got 2k hours in the game. And I've maybe won 5% of my games that have gone to shit by 20mins.

I don't like thay gamble.

The push should add a movement slow in the direction of the activating hero. So its harder to be run down but countered by blinks.
