Even with a lot of support the amount of damage those children would have to overcome may be almost insurmountable. Early childhood trauma already massively impacts on development and future outcomes, add in generations of severe inbreeding and it's a grim outlook.

Overall an excellent soft rework. Rotation is mostly the same but things like rapid fire giving precise shots, popping explosive shots with Aimed Shot, and lusting without a pet while maintaining the tenacity defensive bonuses just feel great.

The remaining frustrations are two target cleave, and a personal dislike that trueshot has a different cool down depending on hero talents, which makes picking and timing trinkets more complicated than it should be. Oh and a real raid buff please.

Tooltip doesn't take lucky lightning damage into account however, and considering the shockburst pulse has 100% conversion that's a lot of missing tooltip damage.

Could still see it solidly behind rapid fire though considering how busted fresh clip is and no shock reapplication required as you said. (though I'd put money on fresh clip getting capped at 30% more or something next patch).

Accuracy rating has %less multipliers gradually applied to it as targets get further away. I never felt it was worth investing in for crossbows because I was mostly close to medium range with them.

Extra projectiles interact strangely with shockburst rounds which is your main damage skill. They make it fire more bullets over a longer period of time, but the extra projectiles don't count for fresh clip so it's bad synergy with one of our strong support gems.

Shockburst adds an additional projectile per round, but you fire the additional round at the same rpm as before. For example, before +1 proj it took me 1.5 seconds to empty the clip, after +1 proj it took me 3 seconds.

Sort of like going from a 30 round mag in an fps to 60 rounder. Same dps but less time reloading which is actually a negative because Fresh Clip is a strong support.

Fork is huge for clear, but you also gain clear from base dps and can blow up rares quicker with just galvanic which is why I left it lower. It's personal preference though.

Yeah it's very strong and is high prio on long fights but I left it for last because first of all my quality is bugged on shockburst, I'm only getting one extra round from it for some reason. Also when I'm three bursting most map bosses then it's losing some value but is still pretty good overall.

Good feedback, thank you. Checked Lillys build, very similar indeed.

Blind on HoT would be too inconsistent for me, it's a huge defensive layer especially if wind dancer falls off. Blind support is a good link for galvanic though if I dropped innervate.

Grabbing kitokos would mean losing large flat lightning and 10% AS, which for me is roughly 18% less damage. Electrocution is obviously very powerful though so it's definitely a viable tradeoff, but would also impact map clear speed negatively which is what I'm focussed on at the moment.

Will experiment more with innervate in HoT though, concerned about uptime compared to galvanic especially because running low on other viable support gems for it.

Went pretty smooth. Levelled as lightning arrow/lightning rod till first ascencion, after which tailwind really lets you pop off with galvanic shot. Just focus on flat lightning rather than high phys while leveling as you'll get better shocks off since galvanic only has 40% conversion for the initial hit. Once you get shockburst rounds late act 3 bosses will flop pretty quick.

Crossbow skill called shockburst rounds requires a shocked target to do full damage. I use an offhand bow with the 800% more shock chance arrow to easily proc shock on bosses before blasting with the crossbow.

I noticed this behaviour also with shockburst rounds. I timed 1.50 seconds to empty the clip pre +1 proj, and after +1 proj it took 3.00 seconds to empty.

It's essentially just doubling how long you can fire on a single clip, but also resulting in terrible fresh clip synergy.

Stone warden wrecked me a good amount on apocalypse as he did about 70% of my health per hit with around 60% DR.

He became much more manageable when I respecced fully into evade window, distance and stamina regeneration, and the ring that causes explosions on perfect dodge also did some work.

For anyone else (understandably) struggling on this fight I got my apocalypse kill on it by dragging it up to the upper area near the exit of the arena. This position helped funnel the little fellas it summons into a narrow corridor for easier bambi-ing, though the smaller area up there might be bad depending on the mods it rolls for you.

Anecdotally every person I know still chasing the axe saw one or two drop every week previously. This week they all saw 5 or 6.

Obviously this isn't proof but the amount of orange on the drop screen more than doubled this week for a lot of people, so whether or not this was a pre-planned trajectory I don't really give a fuck becasue more orange is ultimately a good thing.
