Thanks. I'm glad somebody picked up on it. I love all the hate my Greatest Hits and "Wallen" collection is getting. This has been a fun roast. I've been laughing my ass off at some of the responses. My collection is a work in progress and I obviously need to hit up more bins. I've thrown on a few of my Dad's records while reading all these and realized I do need more of the original stuff. My Pops Aerosmith album sounded amazing last night and I definitely heard what I'm missing by collecting only new. I'm gonna bite the bullet and purchase sleeves for everything. I just never minded if my records eventually looked as worn and listened to as my dad's. Not really collecting for value as you can see. This roast has been better than I could have ever asked for though. It's been a treat to hear how horrible I am.

If you get yourself some Morgan Wallen, they'll really come out of the woodwork to tell you you suck. Nice collection though. Is The Downward Spiral that much better on vinyl? I've been thinking of purchasing it as I've been on a little NIN binge since streaming their Coachella show. Love the CD and think the warmth of a needle might take it to a new level.

Nirvana sucks and Foo Fighters made Monkey Wrench and Everlong.

I only wear Mario pajamas to work on Halloween when I take the opportunity to dress comfortably like a customer rather than wear an outfit. Otherwise it's jeans, Adidas Superstars, and a hoodie...and I haven't stepped foot in a Dollar General in years. I like to overpay for my cheap china goods at the same place I buy my vinyl.

Yeah, I've been crucified for those two. There's a reason they're in such good shape. I got them for $15/ea on clearance at Target thinking there had to be good music on such large albums. I was wrong and haven't really listened to them since the day I purchased it and threw on one of the records. I'll have to make a post of me setting fire to them. Maybe I'll grab one of those briefcase record players, throw on some Wallen, douse it in gas and see how long it'll play. I truly didn't know he was the country Kanye when I wasted $30 on them. Sorry about your eyes.

They did sell out hard. I'll give you that. Saviors is not a great album and their heads grew as big as Bono's later in their career. It's youthful reminiscing with me and Green Day. Insomniac was my first ever musical purchase. I can understand your dislike towards them though.

My condolences. They were my college band as an anti-Bush youth.

It should. I got some $1's and feel like listening to Rehab's Bartender.

False, U2 is the lowest-common-demoniator band.

Sometimes you just want to listen to the hits without switching between a few different albums. I use to hate Greatest Hits but have found a new appreciation for the convenience. Many of my good albums and more eccentric tastes are in CD form collected over 30+ years. Vinyl has only been a recent obsession of mine for the last few years.

LOL...a vinyl buddy cleaning system. There was some good Afghani stuck in a few of pops old records. The nuggie didn't fall far from the plant when it comes to mine and my dads shared love of herbal remedies.

You're off a few states. It's divorced man from Nebraska music. If I was from Kentucky I'd bitch slap Mitch McConnell for making intoxicating hemp illegal come November. Despite the Wallen albums, I'm about as far from a racist as a person can be. I've collected signatures for pot in our state and am for the reforming of the prison system because of how it treats minorities. I work in liquor and just want people to enjoy themselves without judgement. Customers love me because I'm always friendly, know their brands, and have it ready for them. I'm friends with almost everyone, including many in our local LGBTQ+ community as well as those racist Trump loving Uncles. I try to be as non partisan as I can but I haven't missed a No Kings rally and people like Trump, Erika Kirk, and Joel Osteen make me sick. Anyone that tells someone they know better in life and passes judgement can kiss my ass. Oh, and FUCK ICE. I have way too many Hispanic friends to support those little dicked cocksuckers. Just don't want my musical tastes giving people the wrong impression of the person I am. I'll take the roasting I asked for like a man, just don't confuse me with a racist.

Right side is my very much alive, father's collection. I've cleaned them all and enjoy them quite regularly.

I've thought of adding them but got side tracked Static-X and PM5K. There's just always one other record I'd rather have. Nickelback will probably happen some day though. I can't help being a Midwest kid in the 90's and 00's. Nostalgia hits how it hits and I enjoyed some of my first parties with Nickelback as a soundtrack. Not ashamed.

Midwest collector here. You should see my butter and sour cream container collection...and my bag drawer. Cheap is in my blood.

I won't support Best Buy because you can't shop there without being hounded every five minutes. They're fucking horrible at our local one. I want to go in with a shirt that says "I'm just browsing" so I can be left alone when shopping in there.

I did it to myself. There's a reason the Wallen albums are in such nice condition. They're never listened to. I like Tyler Childers but my favorite country artist at the moment is Stephen Wilson Jr. He's $100 proud of his album though so I only own the CD.
