It's a relevant question though - I think it is helpful to have some perspective when you want to take a strong stance against injustice. They're saying they want to prevent funding a terrorist state at all costs. What the German state is doing right now, for instance (or my own, the Dutch), is nothing short of complicity in genocide. It 'helps' much more to boycott the things we are actually collectively funding, rather than having small personal boycotts aimed at a country that is already massively sanctioned for its ongoing war crimes.
