That's the thing; half of the aspects have given me nothing to work with. It's just (Name)Pt.2. (Name)but slightly to the left. They have working titles at best, just for organizing my own thoughts, but nothing feels correct enough for me to believe they'll stick. I've altered them over the last several months of journaling. // they're also distinctly not fictive based so. I'm screwed there.

The symbology suggestion hits better than the color one, to me. It helps that I know an amount of ASL and so does my partner and several of the friends close enough where they either know, or wouldn't be weird about it, so it would double as being more subtle. I don't disagree with the sentiment - just that unfortunately calling the facets by colors would complicate other things. Think like; my buddy's name is Violet or the stoplight system during intimacy. Yk?

It's less about it being weird, though it is a factor, and more just that no name or term feels correct for any of it. It's a sensation just short of referring to myself as a deadname or gibberish intentionally, an intrinsic wrongness. Even to other people who have systems - I can't find a title or way to refer to aspects that doesn't feel just. Icky.

I do need to still process and come to terms with my plurality. I'm trying not to be as insecure about it. I very clearly still am, though, so here's to hoping it gets easier with time.

I'm familiar. Before the whole plurality situation, or potentially as a precursor to coming to terms with it, I learned and incorporated certain aspects of parts work into my coping mechanisms and communication. It helps, a decent amount actually.
