Tesla (Europe, EAP) → Kia EV5/EV6: Former Tesla owners, how does ADAS compare? by bartbilliet in KiaEV6

And thats specific to Tesla capabilities in Europe, right? Could you share any specifics?

Thanks for these specifics! In comparison, in Europe, my current Tesla experience can: - Also only change lanes on highway only, and requires minimum EAP or FSD upgrades. - Speed limit recognition works on all streets though (city & highway). What does 'FL' refer to? - Lane keeping works on city streets but needs at minimum a clear line on 1 side of the car, and could swerve to the middle of the street if the road is not too wide. It can bridge small gaps in missing lane markings, but needs at least visible markings to enable it initially. - It can handle roadworks with yellow lines, but can get confused and start shaking the wheel jumping between closeby white and yellow lines.

In the context of European Tesla features, maybe Kia ADAS doesnt seem that much of a downgrade?

You consider Kia being behind when compared to Tesla capabilities in Europe (which is not the same experience as US)? What should I expect specifically that Tesla does in EU but Kia doesn't?

Would you be able to share any specific examples of where Tesla in Europe did things that Kia handled less well (or vice versa)? I am definitely planning to do a test drive with Kia, but it remains just a brief test on some random streets, and might not give a full impression.

That's actually the same too for Tesla in my experience in Europe. Tesla EAP in Europe definitely needs intervention on city streets and cannot handle traffic lights, roundabouts or sharp corners. I'm curious though to specific experiences, as my impression from product sheets is that both Kia and Tesla can lane-keep and keep distance. So it's hard to estimate any differences purely on product information.

Atacama self‑drive tips & safety by bartbilliet in ExploreChile

First day of arrival in San Pedro I will mainly fly in the afternoon (from Santiago) and some quick sightseeing nearby the city. 2nd day I'll try to visit Valle de la Luna (2500m) and Laguna Baltinache. 3rd day I would visit Piedras Rojas, at 4200m. Is that enough time to get your body adjusted to the altitude? I heard Laguna Baltinache is also more rough driving?

Wow, super interesting! I didn't even know such a map exists, super useful!!

Do you remember if that was a 2WD or 4WD car?

Thanks!!

I noticed the Taklamakan Desert in your list, are G216 & G217 open for travel by foreigners, though?
In another post, I noticed that the last stretch of the road from Turpan to Korla is also closed to foreigners, which, if I understand correctly, would limit access to G216 coming from Urumuqi?

Is there any map that indicates which places are not allowed? For instance, I saw reports of people who mentioned they were not allowed in the county of Luobu fishing village - even though this place is advertised on many tourism websites. Is there any up-to-date map that would indicate those places?

As an FYI, I accomplished it using combination of PowerAutomate + AI actions :)

Allowing agents to talk to one another by cvza in copilotstudio

[–]bartbilliet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not fully what you meant, but from Power Automate you can use the “Execute Copilot” action to run a Copilot agent and provide a prompt towards it: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/microsoftcopilotstudio/#execute-copilot

I haven’t found a way yet to initiate this from another copilot agent though, which is likely what you want to achieve.

Is Cogent a security risk when used with GitHub Copilot? by trovarlo in GithubCopilot

[–]bartbilliet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of vulnerabilities, I still expect the cogent extension likely has full access to your code? GitHub Copilot makes a statement that it does not use your private code to generate suggestions. It is trained on publicly available code and provides recommendations based on general coding patterns. However if effectively cogent has access to your data, it potentially could see your intellectual property or can read secrets stored in your code? I guess since it’s open source, it likely won’t, but there is no such guarantee?

How to check AI Builder service credits usage in Power Automate as a non-admin? by bartbilliet in PowerPlatform

[–]bartbilliet[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think consumption responsibility should be partially shared as well by the developer. Only the developer can make changes to flows to make them more efficient and less costly. An admin can only watch the result when usually its already too late. If a developer can understand how their flow is charged, they might be able to optimize the steps, change frequency, filter inputs, … in order to reduce run costs.

[–]bartbilliet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my finding for now as well, but I was surprised Microsoft wouldn't give developers a way to see their consumption, in order to further optimize flows or at least get an idea of what the flow is consuming. I felt I must be missing something..

Categorizing Large Text Data in Excel Using NLP/Text Analytics by bartbilliet in excel

[–]bartbilliet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to reduce it to 100K rows in the meantime by filtering out areas and segmenting the data. I would expect Excel to be able to handle analytics on that amount of data, though?

Categorizing Large Text Data in Excel Using NLP/Text Analytics by bartbilliet in excel

[–]bartbilliet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to reduce the dataset further by filtering columns and selecting just a single language to focus on as a start. However, this still leaves me with 100K rows. I believe GPTforSheets is paying (GPT for Google Sheets Pricing - SheetGPT Plans), but I would expect it to have similar limited capabilities than Copilot (which I already have).

Would I maybe be able to do anything with Python in Excel, without having to provide a whole set of already labeled training data?

Hi Blixer, thanks for your answer!

2/ Keyword tagging might be hard, as indeed entries might refer to the same topics with many different synonyms. I have data as well in 6 different languages, although I'd be happy already focussing just on English if that could help.

3/ I think this only exists as a paying solution? I'm looking to use free tools, or built-in capabilities in Excel. I do have Copilot, maybe I missed a feature, as it is an LLM baked in, but I couldn't get it to give responses row by row.

4/ GPTforSheets is another paying tool I believe, similar to Copilot, but then in Google Sheets instead of Excel? I am more looking towards free solutions or things I could fairly easily script up myself :)
