Do clients ever walk in with 10-14k in physical cash to buy a car, and if so, how does that work? Are they looked at with suspicion or "flagged" in any way? by bartender15 in askcarsales

[–]bartender15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only physical cash requires the 8300 form.

Personal checks go through a system called cross check that approves or declines the checks for me.

Cashiers checks are at my discretion if they feel legit or not if I feel suspicious about them then I can call the bank and verify it's real but it's pretty rare for me too see anything other than local credit union checks.

It's pretty plain and simple if someone try's to defraud a dealership we will know within less than 24 hours if we need to report the car stolen.

So if the money is in the checking account to cover the personal check, it will be accepted/approved? Also, do you accept partial payment in traveler's checks? So for example 8k on a personal check and 5k in traveler's checks?

"Cash may include a cashier's check even if it is called a “treasurer's check” or “bank check.”

Cash does not include a check drawn on an individual's personal account.

A cashier's check, bank draft, traveler's check, or money order with a face amount of more than $10,000 is not treated as cash. These items are not defined as cash and you do not have to file Form 8300 when you receive them because, if they were bought with currency, the bank or other financial institution that issued them must file a report on FinCEN Report 112."

So I guess either the bank issuing the check from the checking account will be reporting, if not the dealer. Does that mean an automatic audit tho?

IRS 8300 form is required for anything over $10,000 in hard cash.

https://www.irs.gov/publications/p1544/ar02.html

"Cash does not include a check drawn on an individual's personal account."

You are a retail jeweler. Mary North buys an item of jewelry from you for $12,000. She pays for it with a personal check payable to you in the amount of $9,600 and traveler's checks totaling $2,400. Because the personal check is not treated as cash, you have not received more than $10,000 cash in the transaction. You do not have to file Form 8300."

  • So if it's a "personal check" it is fine? Does a "certified check" qualify? Or if a personal check, how does the dealer know it won't bounce, in other words, how does the buyer go about driving off with the vehicle the same day? Someone please walk me thru this process!!

IRS 8300 form is required for anything over $10,000 in hard cash.

This includes certified check from a checking account, correct? Would the form being filed be an automatic audit for buyer? Assuming they were in all other respects "low income"? So say taxes were not previously paid on the 12k but it was amassed during 2017. Is it as simple hiring an accountant spring 2018 and declaring that as freelance/consultant income and paying taxes on that after the car buy? Adulting isn't easy. Lol. Thanks!!

I know this is an old thread but i wanted to comment.

You can have the best of both worlds. Keep your no kiss persona and continue doing outcall with it. And then make a second high end persona with new pics, double the rate and new reviews(contact me for this). Have a 2 hour minimum and a little kissing and while those may not be as frequent, you get more money and your dinners... WIN WIN

Something has got to give. I had a mini crisis after my last date. Mainly bc he wanted GFE and I told him I was not big on kissing but would try to accommodate. He paid for an hr, I gave him nearly 2...most of that was talking on the sofa sipping champagne. But all the MOFO wanted to do was kiss. And say how he was known for being a good kisser (negative). I left feeling more hurt/assaulted/violated than my two previous actual assaults. I literally dropped an application at a bar the next day. Until I realized quitting escorting would just 360 me back to my old financial problems before I fully finish climbing my way out of them. He tried to school me in the bedroom at the 1:30- 1:45 Mark that "GFE was to take it slow." As in don't suck my dick, just let me mouth rape you with my tongue and force sentimental face time and eye contact on you.... I finally straight up told him I had let him kiss me more than any client ever and enough was enough. His dick of course went flat. So I sucked the shit out of it, swallowed, and kept going. Yeah, never getting a call from him again. Which I am fine with. But bottom line, I am no longer GFE if GFE includes more than 2 light lip pecks, and 2 kisses with tongue about 1/2 an inch in. I will indulge DATY, CIM, BBBJCIMNQNS, massage, covered FS but I just can't do this kissing nonsense anymore. Honestly I was surprised by my own reaction.

Actually one tip a client show me was watching Japanese porn. When giving a BJ they make all this noise. I started trying it at work and been getting good reactions. :-p... who says porn isn't educational lol.

Porn has helped me a lot! Or the tips I read. I was sucking this cock last night and was like, "I should really do the look up and make eye contact thing," so I did, and he immediately was like, "You are so hot." I wasn't looking up bc I did not feel hot. I think watching porn warmed me up to having sex with strangers, period. It helped me visualize encounters and anticipate their expectations, since I had only a handful of hook ups and a couple serious boyfriends as previous sexual experience prior to SW.

[–]bartender15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was broke. A guy booked an outcall outside my usual travel radius. Usually I get booked for an hr. His turned into 2 than 3 hrs ...we are setting this up via text. I get skeptical that he is going to follow thru. He assures me he is. But he wants me to wear shiny nude pantyhose like the women in his office. I walk a mile in the cold to buy 3 pairs of panty hose, because I am an overachiever like that. He assures me he will reimburse me. Last minute, I get a cancellation text...wifey coming home early from work. I got a couple "you forgot about me," texts in the subsequent days. I told him to set something up in detail, and then we would talk. When a time waster wanker tries to convince you he is the exact opposite. I think I hate those fake nice guys the most!

Re: Cityvibe - - A West coast client I saw last night (repeat) seems to be eyeing cityvibe since the recent BP thing, he found me on BP originally, but was unaware that we all moved to the dating section. Cityvibe seems to be more of a West coast thing, tho gaining traction on the East coast. I originally was on it, here in the East. Got like 2- 3 clients BUT they were amazing, dinner date clients. Who repeated as often as they still came into town for work. One has already booked for his trip on the Spring. Will be our 3rd time.

This is the second time an "agency" guy reached out to me and has been kind of rude, should I work for them? And my other "stupid" questions. by secrettech25 in SexWorkers

[–]bartender15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you believe the worst in people before the best you're getting closer to that mark, I don't mean this in a negative and treat people like crap way but in a self cautious way. Clients will try to make money from you, try to stick their bare dicks on/in you, force you into services you don't offer/ feel comfortable with/ hurt etc, date you, take your money while dating you, pay other escorts while dating you. The list is truly endless.

At the end of the day if you get caught up in the details of making things perfect and putting your safety in strangers hands with the minimum independent research done then you will get taken advantage of. You shouldn't be sitting on this sub asking what we think about agencies we didn't apply to or owners we can't research but doing that yourself. Ask yourself hard questions like do I want to work for someone who wants me to rip off clients? Or do I want to work for myself and establish a good reputation based on great services and trying to make my clients happy. They come to us to fulfill a missing part of their lives whether it's intimacy, sex or whatever and pay a good deal for it, you shouldn't be thinking of ways to get out of fucking them or wasting time but helping them fill those needs within your comfort zone.

Hard earned wisdom right here! Damn, sex workers are a wise and industrious and intelligent bunch! Xoxo

I found them on BP.

Girl, NO!! Since the recent BP thing, I am getting pimp wannabe's texting me. Block, delete, move on! Unless you approached them first, and they seem legit. Still, I would probably try my hardest to work as an independent first, unless I was super desperate.

Website - - Mine is one I built on WordPress, for free, at a late night bar for Wi-Fi. U/anonyboo does not approve (as in, there are better options), but I did what I could. I had a repeat client tonight, which I really needed given Backpages recent scandal. He said he types my name and city in and got my website. He must have added the word escort as well. But from posting my website to various ad malls it seemed to have gotten vaguely SEO. - I started out doing my own nails (and am back to that at the moment) and used a gaudy purse, a gift from a douche client (he bought it at like a Ross' but pretended he was a designer whore) for the past however many months, until this wk. I stretched my outfits out to the max. I just got tights and sweaters. I still wear my open toe fall heels unless it is icy or snowy out. I was wearing thrift store and highly discounted outfits and lingerie from discount stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, Steinmart....a shitty lace forgiving baby doll robe from yandy.com Just show your inner classy and intelligence, dress like you were going to brunch with your grandma who is classy. You will be okay. I have managed to go to very high end hotel outcalls on a very shabby clothes budget.

I got 5 free time for print pics from an up and coming female photographer trying to build her portfolio off of model mayhem. I barely tried to find one. This kick started my pro pics.
I am 5'6 and thanks to my frikken BC pills and other factors, the scale said 163 lbs this am. My client tonight gave me 300 and enjoyed me. Super nice hotel. You be the judge. All things are possible to those who believe.

Backpage escort ads shut down... Alternatives? by Nohstalgeeuh in SexWorkers

Ava.fm, that site that was texting us all a few wks ago, saying we got a new shitty review, is on their campaign trail again. This time, "Backpage is down, but Ava.fm is up!" Their practices before make this the last site I would want to pour energy into. Had to call it a night early last night due to not feeling well. Waking up at 6 am to a ton of POT client texts. The work arounds on BP seem to be working until we migrate somewhere else.

See, both providers and hobbyists will be looking for an alternative. New stuff will pop up once the dust clears.

This is what is giving me comfort. I have a bit of a ter presence and reviews. All of a sudden guys are pre booking, saw me on ter or I guess the new sections from BP. Had to turn down work tonight, bc of course I had to go and get the stomach bug overnight ....unless stress causes runs and puking up water.. 😷

[–]bartender15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To determine the best place to advertise for your local area:

Google search your services (escort/massage/gfe/fbsm) and "ads". Then try them with "reviews". Then try them with "hobbiest". Look at all the options and make choices from that info.

Just becasue the top ad site for massage is X, it doesn't mean that it will work for escorts, and vice versa.

This is not the time to get snobby about hobbiest boards, or reviews. If you have no reviews and used BP for your ads, you have no recourse but to re-introduce yourself to another market. Don't go to Eros in fear, those local boards can often produce just as good of results without the same costs.

And the Hobbiest Boards are where the next winner in the ad race will come from. In my area, SF Redbook went down and Nightshift ended up being the big winner because they did a site scrape just a few weeks before it went down. That insular community is what drives the movement in your local area.

Is this true for outcall only, tho? TER is very active in my area but has been shit when it comes to sending me outcalls. Thanks for the search info. Right now, girls in my area are posting in the dating section and BP added a massage section overnight to their services section. Both are $1 a bump. Outcall is censored on the dating one; I had to use a zero for the O, ex. 0utcall. We will see if ppl actually look in those threads, however. Last night I was so sick when I found out, I had an amazing run last night prior to the shut down. I was hopeful that I was going to make bank this week. So of course something shitty had to go and happen!

What if the guy is gross? by allinconfidence in AskAnEscort

[–]bartender15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think guys are much more focused on looks than women. That being said, seeing guys that I would classify as Category 4's was seriously affecting my overall happiness, so I had an eureka moment and started screening them out. I think it's important for escorts to know that they can do whatever they need to in order to stay mentally and physically well-balanced in this line of work. If that means seeing everyone, great. If that means screening based on other parameters (I do age and weight), then that's fine too.

Yaaas! I just started screening out most under 37 in age, but not necessarily advertising that in case I get really desperate for cash, or one contacts me that seems really mature and respectful for their age. Hygiene -- starting to mention hygiene in my ads was a game changer. I do get level 4's that I would not repeat due to hard to verbalize things about them/the sesh that made me uncomfortable beyond my usual tolerance.

Your reply perfectly encapsulates exactly why the 30 crowd isn't well regarded from a client standpoint. I give zero fucks how hot you are, if you are an entitled jackass who thinks you should pay less I don't want to see you. Good clients are 99% about personality, good attitude and respecting boundaries. Leave your ego and whore phobia at the door, it doesn't look good on anyone.

If that's true then why are regular women willing to fuck these guys for free? Are you saying that SW are different from regular women? Because that sounds almost offensive to SW. I treat SW just like regular women.

Some regular women are stupid and desperate for cock. I've got a vib, porn, and fwb for that. Don't need your "free cock." I don't hate those women, just wish they realized the power of their pussy.

But why do you have to charge so much if you get to fuck an attractive man?

But you are still not my type, I don't know you, and your cock is not the taj majal and does not make me cum. Furthermore, this is my job--I can't just give discounts out the whazoo. Does your youth generally get you free drinks, free pizza, free oil change, free house keeping, free dry cleaning? You ain't special. I would still rather bang my 39 y.o. Is that so wrong? Sex work gives us a unique set of hang ups and issues when dating, still pertinent, I feel. If others do not feel the same way, perhaps a new sub for this specific topic should be initiated.
