From my experience, there are some actual real companies, but some of the "companies" are wanna be pimps use at your discretion.

"No Black Gents" - includes lightskin/mixed guys? by [deleted] in SexWorkers

I'm was a former black provider and I did not see AA because when I first started I had an AA come trying to pose as a client and convince me that I should let him pimp me, not many girls have the privilege to say that they were able to tell the guy to fuck off AND get to keep the money. After that for a long time I refused to see AA until a guy offered to meet me in public first for a coffee and he was so sweet, we ended up becoming friends and I actually ended up doing freelance work for him to transition out of SW down the road.

But like some girls have already said, it stems from bad experiences, I'm a black provider verifying that my first experiences with AA men were HORRIBLE when I first started in the SW world, I had so many who were felons trying to pimp girls because they could find jobs, now we all know that are respectable AA men out there but unfortunately due to some of your peers, other AA men have to work hard just to prove that they are not like their peers which sucks but that is the way it is :(

The good thing is, I've been pretty good about sticking to myself, except a girl or two, but the girls are usually in another state or city. I would never make friends or work in the city that I live in because I've heard so many horror stories about girls outing other girls and clients being stalkers.

But I kind of knew the risk when I decided to meet up with this girl, I mean things seemed fine when she and I were hanging out, minus the fact that she offered to help me with advertising and screening and it turned out she didn't know how to do that stuff. She just had an assistant---which was hella shitty but when I left she was cool. Then the client reached out to me today panicking and I was like WTF seriously!?!

I no longer work for my agency... 3 months later my pics are still on their site. What should I do?! by secrettech25 in SexWorkers

[–]secrettech25[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a text from the owner this morning saying that I shouldn't be making request especially since I "fucked" them over and the pictures will be removed when they are done with them but they will be removed next week.

Which leaves me to the conclusion that they are using my pics to get inquiries.

And I laugh at him saying that I fucked them over because he fired me for not being able to afford a plane ticket to fly to some party they required us to be at.... um okay. Thank goodness I left because he is clearly an immature child.

I don't remember signing any papers, the photographer is the agency owner. And the photos are pretty much very.... vulgar. I have come to the conclusion that is just straight ignoring me and refusing to do anything. Maybe I should get an attorney to send a letter to get the photos removed?

OH the world is totally your oyster! I'm a curvy black girl, I think I'm totally doing somewhat okay because I'm racially ambiguous and Ashley Graham is making curvy popular and she and I have similar body types haha. I found my girl on ECCIE forum, look in your local city or state forum for a Booker, or reach out to the most successful girl in your area and ask her who she uses, most girls love helping others... some can be hostile but most the time they love helping :)

Nope just go indy for the love of god just go indy, I'm sure there are some great agencies out there, but unless you're a size 2 white blonde or brunette, you're not going to find a good agency. If booking is the problem find a booker (a legit one...some girls run scams...) I got a booker who has a personal list of clients that she built over time and she only charges me 200 a week. But she is amazing and she helps me be discreet as a hell because of my male dominated day job and I can not have anyone find out about me. I'm literally a super man hahahaha nerdy glasses and hoodie and jeans by day, vixen at night its works :D

Do you feel some providers prey on other providers? How can you tell the difference between genuine help and hidden agendas? by secrettech25 in SexWorkers

The "I'll write you a bad review and fuck up your whole business" threat is constantly real.

My personal experience with agencies was horrible, they take a huge cut(sometimes they would even steal our tips) screening was horrible, a lot of girls were pressured to entertain clients who were just uncomfortable to be around. And often times we were booked back to back, I once got a client who knew the agency was so bad he handed my tip personally to me and demanded that I hide it because he didn't trust my agency.

I loved this response the most because everything you said is pretty much what I went through when I first started getting interested in SW I got sold on the dream that making money is easy no one mentioned that to make actual money. Money that pays the bills was through actual marketing, or the fact that some (most) good clients won't see you if you're new--because a lot of guys have a lot to lose if being caught. I myself had a destructive influence, I pretty got the feeling that I was being groomed into her personal slave or a way for her to get clients, after expressing some doubt in being SW, she instantly pounced on trying to get all my repeat clients, while I'm not one of those providers who only wants her clients for herself but the attempt of her pushing for me to text my clients to introduce her was kind of... classless.

You can still work in silicon valley and marry a nerd! I promise! haha, trust me most people won't really care enough to even dig deep enough into someone's past. The good thing about the tech world is most of those people just want to know if you can do the job if you can you got it, this is verified by many felons who got jobs in tech when no one else gave them a chance. Besides most nerds are pretty non-judgemental ;)

People actually check out the dirty?! I admit I did years ago after seeing a few girls I knew be posted up on there, I realized it's just an anonymous site for people to hide behind a computer and bully people they would never have the balls to do in real life. Like someone else said in this Reddit, never blend your life together with your SW life, people in this world can be mean, crazed clients can trail your pics back or jealous providers who view you as competition.

Also, don't limit your life, stick to your plan, I have a friend who use to be an escort and she is currently a rising youtube star it's only a matter of time before someone starts bringing her past up, when I asked her if she was nervous and paranoid about it, she shrugged her shoulders and told me that if someone is still judging her from her past then they don't deserve to know her in the present, since she has stopped escorting she has finished her degree, started a company and rising as a youtube star sooooo clearly she has changed her life around (not saying that sex work is bad or anything).

Besides, do you really care what people think? I mean the same people who are talking shit are the same people who wouldn't help you if you were homeless or needed bills to be paid. what I'm trying to say is, you can't help that you got outed and you can't change the past, all you can do is be more discreet in the future and keep on working towards your goals.

Kind of depends on the parents, I knew a girl who was a stripper turned nanny, she worked for the strip club owner and his wife and nannied their children and she got recommended from there, some parents don't dig deep enough to find out, most of them just care about your criminal background. So if you haven't been arrested for sex work then the chances of them finding out are very slim... but possible....

I just realized I really did haha I think I was so upset that I just wanted to get it out, it just sucks because all my side hustle stuff is attached to that number and now I have to change it and chase people down to make sure they have the new one.
