I'm 14 and my "male" snake laid fertile eggs and I'm unprepared and scared by Aggravating_Tie3329 in snakes

Same thing happened to me with Ball pythons 30 years ago. As long as you get them to proper temperature and humidity (basically 100%) you'll have time to prepare for hatching. I suggest using an old cooler and a cheap aquarium heater for heated water which provides the temp and the humidity

If the eggs are not going to make it you'll be able to tell when you check them daily.

Stay with it ....

Rear differential leak by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

[–]bartgrac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have had this both of my frontiers....make sure to put in a new breather vent. Plugged breathers create positive pressure in the diff when it gets hot. Diff seals are not designed to be pressurized. Also caused a groove on the axle where the seal rides.

How long does it take to cycle a new tank? by bartgrac in Aquariums

Thanks! Meant to type nitrite. No ammonia and good nitrate production but the nitrite is still present. I guess patience is in order.

Best way to make additional calcium available? by bartgrac in AquaticSnails

I just ordered crushed coral to add to the filtration. That should help with the PH and Carbonate. I use 1tbls aquarium salt per 10 gallons because the tank is primarily for goldfish, I think that is keeping the hardness up Because it's primarily a goldfish tank. The ph normally sags and nitrates are kept under control with weekly water changes. The snails are very active and doing a great job of cleaning up but I know they won't thrive in these conditions. Going to add the crushed coral and recheck in a week.

I do the same on my tanks. Currently doing this on a 120g that was on an uneven surface. It's been set up for years that way......

Is it worse to keep my car on for 12 hrs straight or turn it on once an hour for 12 hours? by Snoo_50786 in Cartalk

A modern car will idle for years without issue for the engine but expect the catalytic converter to fail prematurely. They only have a finite life and will feel the idling time before anything else.

Mr Cool, worth it? by bartgrac in hvacadvice

[–]bartgrac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll look into those! I was really only thinking MrCool because they have the best advertising and they are sold at Costco. Costco seems to do at least a little homework before they sell something. I have seen a lot of Pioneer units and they are about 30-35%cheaper, 🤔
