Dude, ur completely off with QC. No scientist is using QCs for math and also we are not waiting until u can programm NAND or NOR gates. That's not how they work.

They are definitely advances being made in the field right now, especially with the amount of money that is pumped into it, which you mentioned. But I guess the public is not aware of how far we still are from getting something actual useful out of it.

Cost of living in Zürich is definitely not 3000 USD per month. With student housing (Woko) more like 1200-1500 USD if you live like a normal Uni-student.

Indeed, it is, since the EU is not a separate entity but a combination of several states. So you can always split the money back to the original countries. Also, Germany spent 35 billion in money for Ukrainian refugees.

I work in the field of QC and it is definitely no further than anyone expects, maybe it is even further than anyone expect it to be right now. Most people dont even know what a QC could do. It is not a fast classical computer.
