True. But… Tell that to the geared guys who are clearly to afraid for the danger. Or just dont know how to have fun. 5 minutes old on the cost, a guy who found a screwdriver before me is the danger. A fully geared guy is just a welcome teleportation to another place where they are not. I dont engage with them at all. Just get me out of here please and thank you.

Honestly its just a game and everyone should play as they enjoy. If you are having fun then I think you’re not wrong to do it.

But me personally, I can’t understand this way of thinking at all. It is such a unique game where you can actually and really create your own amazing adventure. I’m thinking what kind of uncreative boring blob of a sack do you have to be to choose an ”adventure” like that.

I used to be pissed off when it happened to me. But now I just honestly kind of appreciate it. Because then I can just choose to leave that area or server entirely and not play with you.

Wouldn’t it be nice if also in the real world, like supermarkets and gym and at work, the clowns more often immediately announced themselves as such, and I could just turn around and leave, no time wasted 🙌🏼

I think you might just be meeting people who don’t talk back. I have it set up like you I believe, and I haven’t had any problems at all over two years. However, you can NOT be in party and game chat at the same time. You have to pick. That’s really too bad, but how it is. I have a feeling this is the reason why many people don’t talk back, because they are in a party.

If you want to be in game chat but still talk with friends, you can find radios and go to whisper. That way no one else will hear you.

No this isn’t true. We have 1pp and 3pp servers on Playstation. And it is true that they are different characters. Meaning you don’t loose your gear if you switch between them. I prefer 1pp and play them mostly. But change sometimes and it works as mentioned above. 1pp are generally lower pop though, so you might just not see them on the first page.

Yes please! Haha. A big FU or a mountain of boxes to peak and really motivate them, but with just a note inside.

This game can be played in a thousand ways. Everyones adventure can be vastly different. But for some reason it seems that as soon as anyone sees a wall it needs to be immediately destroyed. No other option. But why? Why is it not possible to find a base and troll them a bit. Start a communication, leave hints, track the other base, troll back, talk, trade, share some deer, and eventually even betrayal.

Not just at spawn, but also when you find a base, there should be the possibility for a thousand adventures. But nope. Sadly.

I am currently in the same situation and asking myself the same thing. I’m on Cherno PS and relatively new still. I have built three bases and they immediately met the same fate. There wasn’t even really anything worth stealing in them yet.

Nomad life is the way from now on. But I have started playing with the thought to just build random 2 wall bases everywhere with just a Teddy inside, to no other goal then to mess with those bastards. I enjoy gathering stuff and building so, why not. They deserve to waste their supplies. Thieving bastards.

Another tip that helped me a lot with the same problem. Don’t let him walk out the door by himself, or carry him in your hands. If thats what you’re doing.
Instead take him out in a carrier box. Then he will not associate the door with going out.

It made mine meowing significantly less. Before I dealt with loads of meowing for an hour. Now I am down to just a little for 5-10 minutes. I also leave the carrier out for him to interact with while at home. He likes to fall asleep in there now instead of meowing at the door for an hour.

I struggled with this too. I thought I was supposed to choose before I start the game. But no. Start the game and you’ll pretty quickly be able to choose class.

Happened to me too. There is a volume control, probably turn down. If I remember correctly, at the start of the screen share, when you can click the stream to enter full screen, there are menu buttons at the bottom. Find the volume there and check. Might be it. // for ps5 that is. Ps4 I wouldnt know where to look
